I will be going into 7th grade in the fall and I need ideas on how to do my hair. I don't need cut ideas. In 6th grade I wore my hair in a pontail everyday and I was made fun of because I did so. The truth is I don't have any ideas on how to do my hair. Please help I don't want to be humiliated. I have below the shoulder above the tummy length hair. It is brown, thick, and wavy. Please Help me!

In 7Th grade I wore my hair up everyday! Then in 8Th grade I wore it down everyday. Weird.
I'm going into 9Th this fall and int he last week of 8th grade I got a very low maintenance cut. Since you have thick, wavy hair I wouldn't go short like I did. I have thin-ish relaxed hair.
You should get your hair cut short, but not too short. Like so it barely touches your shoulders. And get a few thin layers to make your hair thinner looking and feeling.
After you get it cut you should get a hair straightener. Straighten your hair everyday lightly. My pal who has super thick, wavy hair can go her hair in like 2 min! For real! And it always looks great.
Straightening your hair can make it feel so much lighter! And it makes it look so smooth and shinny! If your worried about frying your hair use a heat protecting spray when your hair is wet. I like Pantene Pro-V's and Herbal Essence's.
You totally should try it!

umm ok nacho wasted his time...go get some of the thickness taken out....get it cut to about ur shoulder....get a side part...then go buy a straightener....you can put it half up half down...in a high pony tail.....maybe get some cute clips from icing or claires...and maybe some colorful ponytail holders...and stuff like that....its a lot of fun to play around with...find a look that works...when i was in 7th grade i wore my hair in a low ponytail everyday and it looked horrible...and then in 8th grade i didnt have a straightener so it was always in a pony tail...then my friends helped me straighten it...and it looks way better....and i think shorter hair is easier to take care of...so have fun with what you do and good luck!!!!!!!!!

It's all just a matter of personal preference. We have short hair and guys just like it. And i prefer a guy with short hair over a guy with long hair because long curly hair tends to make guys look also girly.

i have a similar problem im going into 9th grade and i have no idea what to do with my hair but in the 7th grade i tried to switch it up a little everyday... try getting a hairstraightner or a curling iron or you could put it in a half up for me i scrunched it and it didn't look good but maybe because you have longer hair it will work for you good luck hun!

Every now and then I roll the front of my hair up in jumbo curlers..you set for 20 min. gives you a gentle wave that frames your face...using some frizz eeze or some other silicone gel and blowing out you hair is also simple yet effective...or get some highlights..psyk's right...I great cut makes all the difference

No matter how you do your hair, make sure to get a layered style. It makes your hair look fuller and more "modern", like someone actually took the time to do your hair and didn't just take scissors and cut it.

I have short curly hair for the first time since We was 10 years old and We really like it but I overlook my long curly locks so Now i'm growing it back out!
