its has been two years and my wait is up, i got out on a chapter 11, but my cadre never wrote a definite reason for discharge

I was disharged for chapter 11 (honorable) I was top in my class but had a serious blood condition that i would not be able to treat properly if still in the army. so my cadre got me discharged without medical or anything. my recruiters aren't sure. I'm still an alpha contract to them because of my scores and the fact i was slated for MI when i was in. I have gotten recommendations from my entire cadre at fort wood, stating my scores and my aptitude. but will i get the waivers i need and be able to get back in?

First, we are not taking felons as stated above. The military is meeting its numbers http://usmilitary.about.com/od/joiningthemilitary/a/06recruiting.htm and will continue to meet them.

If your condition is cleared up and can pass the MEPS physical again and meet the procurement requirements in the reg (http://www.army.mil/usapa/epubs/pdf/r40_501.pdf) then you can get a waiver. Now you must have your 4707 (medical board proceedings) in order to get a medical waiver. Without them, you can not process.

Christ, they are not taking felons...Yeesh.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but if your medical condition hasn't changed, I don't think you'll get back in. Still try, of course. Regardless, it sounds like you have a lot of mitvation and intelligence; there are other ways to serve your country. Check into the State Department.

Go see your recruiter, they are the ones who can get you back in if anyone can. Don't be too surprised if they don't rush you like before, or you aren't offered the same jobs, because of your unsatisfactory prior performance you count less towards their recruiting goals. Once you are in, keep your nose clean, no one in the service will ever know about your history unless you bring it up. Its a fresh start.

they will have to put a waiver in. and MEPS is prop going to check you out . A letter from your doc stating that the issue with your blood is corrected wouldnt hurt either.

This is interesting but, I cannot see the future. I wish I could. I would go to the nearest recruit center and ask them what to do.

well im not sure what a chapter 11 is, but if it was dishonorable discarge then no prob not. if you like broke your leg or something and its cool now you might. if your THAT into getting into the army again go join the russian or french armies.

I would talk to a recruiter. If your gonna go back in you gotta go through them anyway.
