It should depend on from whom that sarcasm comes from. At time constructive sarcasm is good., like for example, when a dress doesnt look nice on you, someone may sarcastically say, "Wow, you look like a Christmas tree!" Instantly, you will feel bad and huirt over that remark, but that's an honest and contructive remark of sarcasm, and therefore you should not take offence of it. At least she is honest enough to point out to you to have that dress changed before more people notice you and may pass worse and dishonest remarks of you. Having said that, I dont deny most sarcasms are hurtful, but try to face up to the truth of the remarks because they may be good for you. Always try to view things optimistically and you will not feel so hurtful and bad., because whether you like it or not sarcasm is a social trait everyone has to live with in life....and its here to stay.

It isn't bad, but it takes a certain type of person to be able to deal with someone who is sarcastic. Unfortunately most people take things at face value and find sarcastic people to be rude and unfriendly because they don't really understand them and where they are really coming from.

In person it can be taken as a joke. On the computer it is hard to tell if someone is being sarcastic, a nd often things can be taken out of context.

It can be! But make sure you tell people that you like to be sarcastic! I have been told that I am WAY to sarcastic, so I have started telling people that I can be and if it gets too much for them, let me know. But it is fun!!!

Not unless your always sarcastic. If you're sarcastic at the right times, it's a way of flirting... that's fun.

Light sarcasm is good wit. Heavy sarcasm is destructive...know the line and don't cross it. That is easier said than done. When sarcasm is directed to on a personal level, it must be light, and is best directed at ones self. Otherwise, it can be taken as cutting someone else down..not good humor.

It's a question of insecurity. Sarcasm is bad because you are using it as a tool to cut someone down to make yourself feel better, usually on a subconscious level. When you are secure with yourself you do not need the defense of sarcasm.

Not at all. Normally I am very sarcastic, and in fact my ex used to say I was so much so, my tongue was sharp and someday I'd end up cutting myself. lol If that makes any sense to you lol don't really to me but whatever!

Sarcasm is good, to a certain extent. If you over-use it, it can be your worst nightmare. But if you use it for fun, and every once in a while, it is one of the greatest things!
