Yes it's called 'treks for people who like to be wet and cold' lol just kidding. I want to go too. I'm an Elliott and we have a long history in Scotland. I want to visit especially Hermitage Castle. My girlfriend wants to come with me and spend the night in the ruins where we almost mortally wounded Sir James Heburn along with the Armstrongs. Wait... not spend the night with the Armstrongs... you get the idea.

Larry Gru pass. It isn't spelt like tha but there are like 5 monroes all near each other a lake and a beutiful pine forset. Near Ben McDo (thats not spelt right either) which interestingly was the highest mountain in great britain untill they remeasured and found Ben Nevis to be taller. They even threatened to build a tower on top of it to keep Ben McDuey taller (still not spelt right) Cairngorms is deffiently the best area to go unless you fancy Skye or some other Island right on the edge of the UK. HAve a great time one of my happyest memmories was doing the larry gru with my dad when I was eleven, we stayed at Glen More Lodge (not spelt right you get the idea)

you should look into the west highland way. its a long trek right across scotland - loads of people come from all over the world to do it. it passes through loch lomond so is very beautiful. see www.west-highland-way.co.uk
and dont listen to any of those who diss scotland. i have travelled loads of places in britain and the lake district does not even come close to being as beautiful as loch lomond!

there is a lovely little rural part of scotland to the east of glasgow, you should have no problem with the wildlife and local customs. this haven is known as easterhouse and the people are friendly to a fault, you won't be liable for any charges for pitching your tent either so smiles all round, chelsea smiles anyway. and if anybody wants to greet you in the traditional manner of a glasgow kiss don't refuse and accept graciously with a big smile on your face

attempt Cumbria ,you will discover some remote places there and you have the relaxing of hiking up mountains to get to them,i might ward off Helvellyn and Scafell Pike in case you go with for distant yet there are a number of others to decide for from and the a techniques jap Fells are good for wild tenting .
