In Phoenix,Az, there was a shooting attack "that left two dead and three wounded, when an unknown woman opened fire on the vehicle in the next lane". This was just a group of seven mexican kids, teenagers, who weren't doing anything to instigate the incident. Makes me wonder if it was racially motivated. What do you think?? (and for all you bigots that think i'm racist,NO,i do NOT think these kids "asked for it") What i AM wondering, though,is if these kids were specifically targeted for being hispanic. You see, things like THIS is what i'm afraid is going to start happening, what with all the anger about the illegals. I've got friends and family members that are Hispanic, and i do NOT want to see them,or anyone else hurt!!! Even though i am ANTI-illegals,i do NOT believe in violence of any type!! These teenagers did NOT deserve what happened to them.

Yes, and you can put the blame where it is - Congress for representing Mexico and beyond above it's citizens.
You can say Congress didn't shoot those boys, she did. You can say as much as your against them, you didn't go out and kill someone today. But nonetheless, Congress is fostering hate groups wether we realize it or not.
I'd like to know, is it against our civil rights to sue the government for not enforcing the law and creating as they are charged to create peaceful environment in our community?
When I think of all the times the Mexican Army shot at our boys on the border with .50 caliber bullets somewhere right now would be a good guess - I'm sorry to say what you see may just be the beginning of a different branch of protest than you or I; and more closer to Ireland's Sein Fein.
You and I follow peaceful protest, like MLK did, though I am not black at all. But other people have other ideas of violence, and that's on both sides. This is the enviornment being created by Congress when 17% of the population is represented as 97% of the population when it comes to creating or striking down law.
And you know from my umpteen sources this is true.
Lucky: Thanks for pointing it out. If you think this is road rage, you should look again, they were targeted:
A vehicle containing seven friends was traveling west in the 4000 block of West Buckeye Road about 2 a.m. when a mid-1980s beige sedan began tailgating them, Phoenix police said. When the victims braked, the sedan pulled alongside their vehicle and a female passenger began firing numerous rounds at the victims.
How many people do you know as passengers carry guns at 2 AM for fun??
Alex above: I'm sure you are right, but the rest of us are being taught to call anyone south of our border with Puerto Rico and Cuba, in fact any Spanish decent, as Hispanic.
Yes, the events can unfold in one of many ways, but it doesn't change the fact they were TARGETED.

I agree with you that it could have been racially motivated, in which case it is outrageous. Unfortunately, this is what could happen everywhere when citizens feel helpless about a situation where our administration so blatantly supports law breakers and don't give a damn about their own citizens and their feelings in the matter. Until we know the full story we can only speculate though - I mean, the woman could have been either a) mad, b) have been harrassed by the teenagers on a previous occasion, c) had someone in the family harrassed by them, d) anything else that could make someone see red and lose control. Let's hope it was not a random shooting of hispanics ... that would be totally unacceptable and does nothing to further the debate about illegal immigration from WHEREVER!
I just WISH some of the Hispanics on this site would stop referring to some of us who are anti illegal immigration as racists, and stop this reporting to Yahoo every time someone stands up against it - as far as I am concerned, I don't care where illegal immigrants come from ... I care about the fact that they are here illegally, without screening of any kind! I mean, if this "invasion of illegals" came from Norway, I would be equally opposed ...but would I be called a racist??

Hispanic is not a race......
How can something be race related if it doesn't even pertain to race? There are only 3 races in the world. White, Black, and Mongolian.
Hispanics, which is such a broad term, have all three races. Many have a mix, that is what people think as a different race called hispanics, and they are wrong. I am Cuban and white, does that make me a non-hispanic? Hispanics aren't a color. We are an ethnicity... bring difference,,,
Now back to the orginal point, Since the woman has not even been identified, how can someone jump to the conclusion it was race related? what if she was white and the people she shot were white? Is that still race related? What about if she was black and she shot other blacks?

Actually I had an instance that a group of punks were going past a stop sign and I pointed out that went through it... but since there was 6 of them they decided to say something instigating.. until they realized I wasn't by myself and we all had bats since we were about to start softball... and I know a good swing or two is a good motivator to minding your buisness and not acting cocky... They probably did something but then the bleeding heart america will always blame the poor mexicans even though the don't belong and second a politician can say otherwise if they ever hope to be re-elected.

I haven't heard this story.
Has the woman been caught.
Why would anyone assume it was a racially motivated event?
If she was black, would people still say it was racially motivated?
Why is it that if a white person does something to anyone other than a white, it is always about race. But if a black, or hispanic person does something to a white person, it is just an ordinary crime?
Is it possible that this woman was a Muslim, and killed hispanics, just to get us Americans all worked up. Then it would have been an act of terrorism.

I am afraid much more will happen. Because we skirt around issues. We need a consistent plan of laws that is enforced to the max. Right now by avoiding the issues we are allowing all kinds of injuries. Not necessary -we are increasing lawlessness by not enforcing ours. Now many have become hotheads.
We seen this before-remember the Mexican boy killed by an Illegal? It didn't have to happen if laws were enforced. Until our government makes a stand one way or another hate will grow. And even if they do hate will grow. But at least with laws that are enforced we know what to expect if they break them.
She has no excuse for taking the law in her own hands.
Are we not all tired of excuses for law breakers?

Something happened last week in N.Y. (I think, I don't exactly remember). Two Mexican teens were fishing at some lake, and got beaten up. That one was racially motivated, oh and once they were at it, the white guys took the mexican kids' wallets. It's really sad, I hope that doesn't start happening :(
I don't have the link to the news right now, but if I find it I'll post it.

everyone is blaming every hispanic on earth for everthing now because if immigration problems. if the us decides to deport 12 million hispanics out of this country than we may have serious riots and endless fighting. i am not angry and i was born here. i agree there is a problem of overpopulation andyes coming to this country illegally is breaking the law. i tell you what though i would do the same to feed my own family. there are ppl out there who constantly verbally abuse the hispanic community because of illegal immigration. but if put in the same situation they would do the same thing, then we might call them hypocrites.yes i believe discrimination is rampant now. we have always had crime problems but more attention is being put on hispanic ppl because of immgration reform. every race has good and bad not just hispanic ppl. maybe we should just throw all the criminals in jail. wow there would hardly be ppl left after that.

You should do nothing. You say that by mistake your hand hit the rickshaw. An accidental hit by hand by a person while walking (you were coming from tuition) should not be heavy enough to topple a rickshaw. But you say that the rickshaw fell into the gutter. This means that the rickshaw was either too rickety to withstand even an accidental hit OR parked in an unstable manner . If this is the truth , you are NOT guilty . Your feeling for the rickshaw driver is your magnanimity. There is no need to do anything more.

you raise a good point, but a lot of times when there is a crime committed against someone of a different race, people try to say it is racially motivated. it might have been, with all of the stuff that is going on right now, but it also could have been that the teenagers cut her off on the road and she had an extreme case of road rage
