I have been wanting plastic surgery for about a year now and I have finally saved enough money for it and now my boyfriend doesn't want me to have it. If it's something I want to have for my own personal reasons should I do it anyway? He argues that I don't need it and he loves me the way I am. He also says the money could be used for something better. I know I don't need it but there is just a small thing I would like to fix up to make myself feel better. I don't want him to think less of me and I don't want to lose him but I want the surgery. Help?

" I love you just the way you are"! Your fortunate to have a guy that does not care whether you aged . He must have known plastic surgeries that have implants generally leads to some sort of cancer and that is most horrible than not having it altered at all.Do more research on what those others who have plastic surgery on them, I think it is a continuing process, not just one time and your hard earned money will not be enough.
But since it's your own body and you think that will raise your self esteem, you had made your choice. At least you've known he doesn't care what you looked like and he loves you.
By the way. what part would it be? Being more attractive and seducing to others does not bother him. It's your welfare he's thinking of. Unless he wants you to buy him a new car, dump him!!!!!

If your boyfriend likes you the way you are you should not get plastic surgery and you should use the money for something else because there are more things to do with ones money.

Why not just accept your body for the way it is? So many things can go wrong with plastic surgery. Don't get me wrong, I think it can be great for some people, but if you don't need to have it done, I don't think you should put yourself through it. It's obviously up to you though.

Depends on the surgery. If he loves you then he loves you unconditionally. Meaning, he wouldn't care either way and would support you either way. He may be insecure with you trying to improve yourself and is afraid that you will find him less attractive by you feeling more attractive. Do what you feel is right and what will make you happy. He may come and go but you have to feel good about yourself always.

YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. Never make a decision based on what someone else wants.

You have to take care of you first. If you want the surgery, by all means, go for it. He isnt the one living in your body and living your life, so if he doesnt want surgery, thats fine for him, but he has no right to tell you that you shouldnt have surgery.

You have to ask yourself who's opinion you value more, yours or your boyfriends. Also keep in mind, your boyfriend *may* not be around forever, and once he's gone.. and you've used all that money you saved on something else because HE didn't want you to have it done.. you'll regret it. You may want to ask him WHY he doesn't want you to have it done. Its great that he loves you the way you are and doesn't think you need it but he should also be supportive in the decisions YOU make for yourself.

Get your cosmetic surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery (including facelift/ breast enhancement tummy tuck./lipo) is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star .

My cousin got her cosmetic surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results.sHe is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. She paid just 30% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. .hope this helps.I think she paid only 8000$ for the tummy tuck and liposuction surgery for which she was quoted 22000 $ in USA.

Maybe he's worried, you are voluntarily having surgery, doesn't that scare you? There is a good chance something could go wrong.
