Submitted by Marisa Davis
INGREDIENTS:
3 T. butter/margarine
3 boneless/skinless chicken breast (cut into bite size pieces)
1-(4oz) cn. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c.white wine
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 Tbl. garlic powder
1/3 c. flour
3 T. butter/margarine
2 c. milk
2 c. prepared spaghetti noodles
In medium skillet, melt butter/margarine. Add the next six ingredients. Cook over medium heat, simmering until the chicken pieces are done. Remove chicken from sauce. Return heat to medium high. Add the 3 T. of butter/margarine and let it melt. Sprinkle the flour into the skillet and mix until it forms a roux. Add the milk, whisking to make sure there are no flour lumps and the mixture is smooth. Stir constantly over medium high heat, until sauce thickens to desired consistency, usually not long after it starts to boil. Stir in chicken pieces and remove from heat. Serve over cooked spaghetti.

This is a basic alfredo sauce recipe. You can add chicken to it.
Fettuccine Alfredo Prince
Ingredients
(4 servings)
12 oz Fettuccine
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 c Cream, heavy or light
1 1/2 c Parmesan, grated
1/2 ts Salt
Pepper, white, dash
Romano cheese to taste
Instructions
We add a little romano to this for extra flavor- not in the original recipe- about 1 or 2 tablespoons.
Cook fettuccine according to package directions. While fettuccine cooks, heat butter or margarine and cream in a small sauce pan until butter melts. Stir in parmesan cheese., salt and pepper. Keep warm over low heat. Drain fettuccine, return to pan, pour sauce over noodles, toss gently until noodles are well coated.

Easy Chicken Alfredo:
July 25, 2005 | Permalink
My honey told me that our dinner Friday night was the "best yet." Since it is quick and easy I thought I would share the recipe here:
1 lb chicken breast, cut into small chunks
1 tsp olive oil
2 cups fresh button mushrooms, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
Sun-dried tomatoes
1 can corn, lightly drained
1 jar Alfredo sauce
1 package Mrs. T's Pierogies
Heat a teaspoon of olive oil in a deep sauté pan on low-medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms, heat until the onions are soft. Add the chicken breast chunks and lightly brown. Add the alfredo sauce, corn, sun-dried tomatoes, and any other vegetables you would like to add. Cover and heat to bubbling on medium-high heat, then simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook Mrs. T's Pierogies according to package directions. Divide the cooked pierogies onto two plates and ladel alfredo chicken sauce over them.
Yummy! Serves two people well.

The chicken helper Chicken Alfredo is very good and everything is in the box and the sauce is flavorful...I add fresh sliced mushrooms in my sauce and when I serve it I put Parmesan cheese on top of the dish. I also have used the bottled Alfredo, Barrietta and Prego..they were good too but you have to get the fettuccine for the dish...
