with a letter to my local editor. I live in a small town in Oklahoma and want to express my thoughts on the illegal mexicans starting to move in this area. It pisses me off that they are here and the police won't do anything about it. They are law breakers. I'm about an hour from Dallas and they have been moving to this area latley and now are around 200 in my small community. Do you know of a 1996 law where local police can arrest them. Like they shouldn't any way.

come and visit dalton georgia, the carpet capital of the world. we are so over run with them, the law doesnt do anything about them here either.it pisses me off too. well it really makes me sick.this used to be a nice place to live, not any more.

Even if there was a law... they probably won't arrest them anyway. That is due to all the stories I have heard of police around the country. The one that stands out the most is the two that were caught with about 500 kilos of dope and were let loose 72 hours later. If you arrest the wrong person they could also sue. It is a lose lose situation. Sorry to say but this country is going in the toilet and I only expect it to be here until 2050. Since every empire in history has fallen at some point. Russia, Egyptians, China, England (who once owed about 40 % of earth). Since we have ultimatley pissed everyone else in the world off. That is the problem. We are the crusaders and I am glad I am no longer a part of it.

I am all for the deportation of ALL illegals. This country rewards these people for breaking the law by being here. They should not be entitled to welfare, free medical, low income housing, using our public schools, etc. The local police everywhere should be allowed to arrest them and deport them. Unfortunately only the Border Patrol and INS have this power and are obviously NOT doing their job.

angelar - all illegals have broken the law; hence the term. If they use education and health care based on illegal status, they are damaging the community they are in. That has nothing to do with what race they are.
