Yes, I'm Christian. To me that means being kind to others and trying to emulate the kindness and generosity of Jesus Christ. It does not mean that I take the bible literally, try to enforce my views on anyone else, hate gays or blacks or anyone else, or believe that you should beat your children - all of which some idiots try to claim are Christian ideas.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you - that sums up my personal Christianity. By the way you should capitalize "Christian" - it comes from Christ which is a proper name or title. Same with "Christmas." Cheers!

Who's a better christian George W Bush or Adolf Hitler.
I think it's great that kids are believing in something these days no matter a tree or a rock, because believing in something is just healthy, but i think some people take it a little to far, I also feel think religion is has alot to do with why they are no peace in the world. because one relgion thinks that they are better and more right than other religions. but too bad it's ALL pretty much the same, as in stories and beliefs, the only difference is the God. so that kinda an irony, that religion is suppose to brings peace but infact it also brings hatred. ie.hitler. so the only difference between christians and muslims is, christian are a bunch of pansies and hypocrites that believe so much in their god but wont strap a bomb to themselves sacrifice themselves. now muslijms, that's something i can respect, that's call devotion.

I am an atheist, and I think Christians can be some of the best people to know or the absolute worst. I can't stand Christians who go around saying, "You're gonna burn in Hell unless you convert!" or who act like they know everything about God and what He thinks about and wants. I love talking with calm Christians in open debate (that means we both listen to what the other side is saying and calmly reply to it) but I absolutely abhor talking with Christians who end up just quoting the Bible and preaching (and when I mean preaching, I mean just saying things and not listening to the other side. I hate it when any religion preaches, but open debates are a completely different thing) If you want to talk, you can email me (average_atheist_shmoe@yahoo.com) or IM me (AIM screenname: averageatheist66)

Praying 4 others to be true to thy self. I'm a christian and sadly, I agree with the first answerer that most Christians are straddling the fence and are compromising their faith with non believers and sinners! I realized this in about 4 weeks on this site. I am still in shock! Will the real christians, please stand up?

I think that most of the people who say they are Christian are in belief, but not in lifestyle. They should learn more about the religion outside of what little they are taught on Sunday's and learn more about what it takes to live as a positive example of a Christian.
There is a quote (it is on a DC Talk album) that says (roughly), "The greatest harm to Christianity are Christians, who go to church and then get on with their lives."

I'm a Christian and I don't think I can make a broad statement to generalize to all Christians since everyone is an individual and there are so many denominations.

I am a Christian. I believe that Jesus died for my sins.
I have been a Christian for 27 years.
In the beginning it was an emotional roller coaster.
I offended many people.
They would say, run for the hills, here he comes again.
The experience was unbelievable.
I wanted to share the experience with everyone, but it was my experience. It was given to me and I could not share it with anyone. I tried though.
Salvation is of the Lord. It is His gift, He gives it to whom He chooses.
As to your question.
Blessed be the Lord.
I am thankful to Him, that He chose me.
OLay!
