Another participant just posted a ridiculous question that reminded me...
I have 3 female friends that have told me that their brothers touched them or liked looking at them when they were teens and pre-teens. I also remember when i was in high school, another friend of mine went to my mom and told her that her older brother who was in college kept cornering her and pressing his body against hers!

What would possess a guy to do that to his own sister?!!

I have no idea why but both my brothers molested me and have since blamed me for being an alcoholic, drug taker, and not only them but also my father today still judge me for having 3 broken marriages and doing prostitution for 15 years as a way of supporting three children alone. I have since left prosituation and have been in a middle management job for the last 3 years. Now it seems they want to know me again. When I told my dad he didn't want to know & said it's the past. My father has never shown me any affection and is so narrow minded that he sees that nothing that happened to me even his divorce to my mum as having anything at all to do with him or my brothers. I forgot to mention my male cousin also molested me. I love them all but do they really deserve it?

Any brother that would do that to his own sister, is sick in the head. He's worse than a stranger. Your friends should go to their parents and tell them what their brother is doing and put a stop to it. What their doing is SICK!!!! I have three sons and a daughter and all three of my boys are alot older than my daughter and not a one of them would ever think of bothering or touching their sister in an inappropriate way. If one of them did, I'd be the first to turn them over to the proper law enforcement.

not all boys do this, I know I didn't touch or fondle my sister as a child, I would sometimes look as a child right around puberty but only out of curiousity and only because I didn't know at the time that it was improper, I never had any urge to touch her or fondle her for that matter, as far as boys that do this and or have done this I'd imagine it stems from those things, curiousity, and then what possesses them to take physical action against their own flesh and blood is well, just beyond me, I'd guess just not knowing any better, lack of options maybe? and so they turn towards a family member to get what they want? hell, I don't know

Depending on the age of the brother, if they are a teenager or pre-teenager themselves, it's usually curiosity and hormones. If they are older, it's usually a power trip over the sister, or they do it because they can't get a girl themselves and they know the sister isn't likely to tell.
Either way, it's a totally wrong and horrible thing for a brother to do to his sister.

That happened to me...I never said anything about it until just recently, but it was to my boyfriend, which is his best friend. He wants me to confront him on it but i'm too afraid to. They do it because they're sick and wrong. They couldn't get a real girl so they decided to take it out on someone smaller, weaker, and possibly dumber than them. My man and I might be having a baby but i'm only 14(15 next month) and he is 19. My mom recently got a restraining order against him and I don't want to raise a child alone. Now all I have is my brother, and he will NEVER see my child.

By looking at blue movies and hanging out with the wrong crowd, when children goes in puberty, their bodies change and they go through a lot of emotions that they themselves can't deal with by themselves. They need counselling and parents play and important part in their lives at this stage in their lives. They have to be told to stay away from their sisters.

Because some people in the human race are sick and perverted. Sometimes they have genuine problems like they can't distinguish the difference but a lot of the time, they're just perverted and think it's easier.

It used to be called playing doctor when I was young. The situations that you describe border on perversion and don't seem like that harmless comparison thing that all young kids do.Why do they do it?Because they're males and they don't want to molest their brothers, which is somewhat a good thing,no?

Boys don't molest their sisters.

Sick people molest other people. People who do this kind of stuff need help.

And it has NOTHING to do with being from the south. Those comments are sick as well. Ignorance wins when people give into stereotypes.

An overload of testosterone can be the cause, just as much as bad upbringing. Usually, however, it happens after they've been dumped or treated wrong that they'll resort to rly bad stuff...
