i was thirteen and it was a huge mistake, usually guys will tell you anything you want to hear as long as you give them what they want, then they are gone. its a great way to tell if the guy is only with you for sex. make them wait and if they all the sudden do not want to waste their time with you then you know they are only trying to get you to have sex with them. although everyone seems to love having sex it is not the most important thing in a relationship so i will tell you to wait. you will know when its the right time as well as the right guy. do not try to rush it girl cause you have your whole life ahead of you and as far as curiosity goes try not to wonder about sex cause when you finally do get married to your dream guy don't you want to give him the gift of being a virgin? its the best gift you could give.

Well under the age of 16 is really not appropraite. But 16 and over then it is up to the person. It's different for everyone. Just wait til your ready physically and emotionally. The longer you wait the more mature you become and will be able to enjoy it more.

What ever you do DO NOT wait till marrige. Keep reading and I will tell you why. If you wait till marrige, and your partner does to, then how will you know the best way to do it. You will both be uninformed and bad at sex. You should enjoy your partner and be able to please them. You can risk a good marriage if one person does not know what they are doing and cannot please or satisfy their mate. The people who say to wait, they don't have sex much, or do not value it in their marriage. Sex is very important to a marraige, and is the physical act of showing someone you love them. If you cannot do it, then the person might think something is wrong with them because you are both not having an orgasm. Learn from someone who knows what they are doing, or expierement with someone that you are comfortable with, but do not plan on spending your life with. Once you learn, then you can adequetly satisfy the one you love, not dissapoint them.
Over Half of all marraiges fail, and the ones that do fail, do not have good sex in common. People with a good strong marriage usually have a good satisfying sex life.
Do you really want to have sex with only one person in your life? How would you know if you are doing it right. How would you know if they are doing it right?

The appropriate age is different for each person. It's when your physically and most importantly emotionally ready. Also educated on what sex is and what the consequences are.
I was 18 and still feel I should have waited.

There is no appropriate age..... Just wait till marriage if possible, if not, then wait till you're with the right person for a few months or so to see how well you get along together don't let your relationship be based just on sex.... I was 17 when I lost mine

The most appropriate time is anytime after marriage. I'm telling you, you NEED to wait til marriage. My family is going through alot right now cause my cousin who is like 20 is pregnant and not married, nor getting married, and it's really a bunch of crap. You won't regret waiting til marriage. I promise

I agree with when you married take it from me. okay.. I got pregnant in February, I just now got married to him (not becuase of the baby) you have to wait because accidents happen and though you may hate the person it happened with you cant get away from them you have their child and the memory never goes away I was only 18 the first time, and I really regret it. Im 19 now (My wasnt my first) thats an honor to give to your husband. So you should wait hun.
