sure can. Marinate the steak and put it in the fridge for a couple of hours. But discard the marinade when you cook your steak. dont use it as a dipping sauce.

You can, but it won't really penetrate into the meat that much. The key to any successful marinade is the use of acid; (either lemon or lime juice, vinegar, etc) that is what actually breaks down the meat to make it more tender. Beer is also a great marinade, try a taste test of mixing a little beer and the bbq sauce, if it marries well, then I would marinade in that mixture and baste with the plain bbq sauce.

Yes. Take a fork and pierce some holes in both sides of the meat. Brush marinade over steak while cooking. Throw away excess when done.

If you are wanting steak sauce this recipe I have from Marlboro recipe book I keep it made all the time and never have to buy steak sauce.Everyone here loves it even the most devoted store bought sauce people. 1 cup strong black coffee 1 cup Worcestershire sauce 1 cup catsup 1/2 cup cider vinegar 3 Tbs. chili powder 2 Tsp. salt 2 cups chopped onion 1/4 cup hot chili peppers minced {Serrano,jalapeno,etc} 6 garlic cloves minced Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan;simmer 25 minutes.Puree in a blender. Keep in fridge. I have had some for months and it is always good.

TROUT CARPACCIO Ingredients : 1 lb 2 oz ( ½ k) trout fillet, cleaned, without skin Juice of 2 lemons 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon capers, chopped 1 tablespoons red peppercorns, lightly crushed Salt Chopped parsley Preparation: Freeze trout for 15 minutes to make cutting easier. Remove from freezer and cut the fillets into paper thin slices. Arrange slices in one layer on a serving plate. Whisk together lemon juice and olive oil in a small bowl and drizzle over the fish. Sprinkle the capers and crushed peppercorns and season with salt. Let fish sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley.

You can, but because of the sugar content it may burn on the grill. I would use a regular oil, vinegar, and herb based marinade and then put the BBQ sauce on in the last couple of minutes of grilling.
