Those two terms have a different meaning-but fundamentalist should always be evangelical, and evangelical is not always fundamental.

Fundamentalists believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible. Evangelicals strive to spread the Word.

Generally, it's the same end result. However, there are evangelicals from many different denominations of Christianity.
