I dont find them both as the biggest threats. The US attacked Iraq stating that the country is into Nuclear Armaments' production. However, when Iraq was invaded there was no output and the reason for attacking Iraq turned out to be somethin diff., resultin into the capture of oil fields in Iraq by the US. Therefore, North Korea is also not a threat to anybody in this world. In fact, I think Bush and the US are the maj threats for the whole world today.

North Korea... they have over 1 mill foot soldiers and not to mention all the combatants if need be... they are still technically at war with south korea since there was no truce signed. They are the ticking time bomb waiting to explode and have the weapons, but why aren't we invading them? Simple they have no resources that we want. They find tunnels crossing the border and could probably take over south korea in a matter of hours... So hands down South Korea

North Korea. North Korea has one of the largest standing armies in the world. They are developing nukes and nearly have the capability of launching a missile strike against the US west coast.

Even with Saddam, Iraq had a marginal army, no WMD, and insignificant ability to shoot a missile even to Israel.

Iraq because they had the means to operate independently of the rest of the world. They proved it over twelve years of sanctions. North Korea cannot survive without aid from the rest of the world and that makes them much easier to negotiate with. I mean hell.. Saddam tried to assassinate a former president of the US. What did he think would happen if he pulled that off????

That was George Bush's strategy on North Korea, attack Iraq. Not a good decision from the decider. But then again when has he ever made a good decision.

Hussien had trained thousands of people as terrorists and had planned to send them over here to make 9/11 a daily occurance. Those people are now dead because we took care of business in Iraq.

North Korea is so dysfunctional that a significant percentage of the population is resorting to cannibalism to keep from starving to death.

Now....which one of these situations was the greater immediate threat?
