They make more money in a week then I make in a year. I'm sick of people link Bono whining about poor people in other countries while they fly in their private jets, drive gas guzzling expensive cars, live in HUGE homes, and have no idea what it is like to live from paycheck to paycheck. Stop feeling gulity for you sucess and get on with your life you Media Whore!

I agree with the concept of your complaint. However, there are many celebs that do donate a decent amount of money (it is a tax benefit to do so, so of course they do!). Many even have their own foundations.
However, you are correct in that they tell us to conserve, use less, donate, etc etc and then jet around in private jets, Hummers, air condition 12,000 square foot homes, have yachts and fleets of cars, and the sordid list goes on. That is what I find to be even worse. Conservation is fine for the peons, but certainly not for the demi-god celebs!

If I'm not mistaken many celebrities donate a lot of money to charities.Some get publicity for it some wish to remain anonymous. The US is one of the biggest donors to world charities and always willing to help in time of disaster. I sense envy in you and its not attractive. Big houses, big cars and private jets cost a lot of money to maintain you wouldn't want that responsibility. Actually celebrities and successful business heads make more money in an hour than most working people make in a year. So?

I agree with you completely. There are a few out there who do their part, but for the most part they are pretty hypocritical if you ask me. My friend went to Madonnas concert and was just furious about how Madonna wants everyone to donate money when she is in a position to donate a ton of money made from her tour?! Its ridiculous, I dont think us "normal" people will ever understand "them"
