My husband has a love of the link sausage sandwiches that are usually sold at fairs. I have found receipes for making them, but I would really like to know where to buy them pre-made, and maybe a brand? I think they include fennel

I don't know about your area, but in Central NY, Gianelli sausage is found at pretty much every fair, especially the NYS fair.
Its the main reason my dad even GOES to the State Fair.
You can even order it online and have it shipped to you.

You can buy them at most food stores. They called Italian Link. Or sweet Italian link. They have the fennel in them. If you can't find them. Ask the in the meat department. They will be glad to help you. There are many different brands. Brauts is one.

The only really great State Fair sausage is Gianelli. And I mean really GREAT! Everyone loves and that is why it has been featured at the State Fair for over 50 years.
Here is the web address. Ask around if you like but it is the best.

Most stores carry their own brand of sausage, and it will say on the front of it whether or not it has Fennel in it.

Italian meat markets usually make the best and it is made fresh. Try to find one in your area.
