i dont know whats wrong but i've been using winamp ever since but i encountered a few problems today. i just wanted to know if there are any alternatives you know players that dont eat much ram when you use them. thanks.

Windows Media Player shouldn't use up that much RAM because it runs some of the same processes as the Operating system.

A program to stay away from in my opinion would be Musicmatch.

I use Window Media Player the most, sometimes Real Player.

There's always Windows Media Player 10. It doesn't eat up much RAM, and it's easy to use. If you don't have WMP10, you can download it for free from the windows site.
