I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what age he would best be able to understand/deal with having a brother or sister. I grew up with 4 years between myself and my sister and we fought constantly.

It all depends on how you handle the situation between siblings.
I think this is a good age for you to start planning for another baby.

Just letting you know I have 2 kids ages 7 and 5. They are 11 months apart. They fight a lot, but they take care of each other. I have other friends that have a 8 year kid and have a baby. That is a big age difference and they don't fight as much. Myself, my brother is 8 years older than me. I grew up spoiled and I got away with a lot of stuff and I fought with my brother a lot for attention. :(

This is a great age. I heard that 5 years is a little to much and 1 year is too little. All siblings fight, its part of life. This age is great because they'll be able to understand each other better when they're older. My sis and I are 3-4 years apart and we get along, most of the time! :)

It is best to wait until the first one is potty trained, so that you don't have 2 in diapers at the same time. There will always be sibling rivalry. My brother and I are 9 years apart and we fought. My 1st and 2nd son are 13 years apart, and they still fought. Waiting does not put an end to sibling rivalry.

My son turned 3 in February and we are currently trying for number two. I, personally, would keep about 2 to 4 years between each baby. I am 6 yrs older than my brother and we hated each other. My husband is about two and a half yrs older than his sister and they are extremely close.

I've heard that the age between 2 siblings should be atleast 3 years. Kids tend to fight when young. I remember me and my sister used to fight and there was a 7 year difference in our ages!!

Go for it!!! I'm sure your son would like to have a baby boy or girl to play with. Dun worry... the age gap is ideal. Fights between siblings are normal.

the most proper time 2 conceive is two have sex throughout the time of ovulation! bypass 2 the dollar save and purchase 10 ovulation checks. they're very precise! She might want to start up taking a million each morning 2 days after her era is going off!

My brother and I are 2 years apart.We get along great.He is like my best friend.I would think that 3 would be a good age.

3 years difference and fought constantly too.
I don't think it matters, sisters and brothers are going to fight.
I liked it though, in school I got to protect my little sister until I graduated.
I could pick on her but nobody else better try it.
