I was wondering if the neighborhood drug store was equipped to develop 120 film. Can anyone give me a definite answer?

The simple answer is, they will have to send it out to a different lab, IF they offer that service. The film will also have to be color negative, they don't usually know how to handle anything else. You should find out who they are sending their "outside" lab work to and you may be able to contact them directly. I would also shoot a test roll of 120 film for them to "process" before I would trust them with anything important to me. A better choice would be your local professional photography store. They will know who in the area does this type of developing and what films they will accept. Also, a lot of places now offer processing of the 120 negative roll and then scan the film and produce digital prints. You need to decide if this is acceptable for you and whether or not you want traditional color prints or if digital prints is OK.

Usually one hour places in grocery stores or places like that won't. It's best not to take a chance on them ruining it.
A store that specializes in processing and selling of phonographic equipment will be your best bet. But they will still have to send it out because one hour photo machines are made for 35mm film.

currently only Kodak does 120 format film - at least in my place
BUT - you will get it after 5 days - becasue they send to to their main lab somewhere

120 size is a dead format that's why many do not process it
i had same problem last year - i had to process the film myself (i could do it because i know to - but everyone cant do it)

The only definite answer is to call them and ask.

Most photo processing locations can send away most film to get it processessed even if they can't do it on location.

Probably not, though some better photo shops can. You can do it yourself if you are going to it a lot its probably worth while. I do it every other day at work, but it is black and white. It is getting hard to get film in that size

The real answer is NO, but they will take it and get it done somewhere else and charge you more for it. It is best to find a professional photo processor, you will get it quicker and cheaper.
