Normally the mother has to agree to you signing the rights away, and if not you have to go through the court system....and if the judge allows you to then you can, normally though judges don't terminate rights without having the mothers concent, my friend tried to get his rights signed away, and the judge wouldnt allowe him to, and he ended up having to pay child support!...good luck though, hopefully your babys mother will let you!

Go see a lawyer, have a document stating this typed up and notarized.

why would you do that? and you just need to sign them over to the mother and presto the poor kid has nothing to do with its biological father
