Of course God gave his entire Word to us early on! Why would He wait until later? In the case of the "New Testament" He waited for certain events to pass. If God has more to say to everyone after another event, He will wait for that event to pass too.
That does not mean that God does not talk to us now. God has had plenty to say that has been worth writing down to specific groups of people. The Bible, however, is for everyone and what God has said lately has not been for everyone but directed at specific individuals or groups.
One of the requirements of scripture is that the scripture itself must claim to be "God - Breathed" to be considered true scripture.
Your comment on the "wine-flowing and hot sun" makes me think that you have already made conclusions and have hatred and bigotry in your heart towards Christians. I find this ironic because as a Christian I am accused by those outside the faith of being a closed-minded bigot. Yet that is what I am seeing in the questino you ask.

Dude, God gave his word to the Israelites back tehn and different people, including prophets wrote it down. Whether God embedded his message in their brains or did something else, the Bible is still a great historical text and the Holy Book for Christians. You shoudn't jump to conclusions too soon. DO SOME RESEARCH AT LEAST! The Bible is more accurate than any historical book written!

All scripture was given by inspiration from God and the prophesys and stories in it are true and real and most have been fulfilled or proven. The Bible is the sure foundation do not lean on your own wisdom or understanding. The Bible will seem like foolishness to someone who is not being fully led by the Holy Spirit. The things of it are spiritual discerned, if you want to crack the code test God by asking him if he exist to explain it to you fully and i am sure He will. How can i say to someone that Jesus blood washes away sin, that is foolishness to them; among other things from the Bible but if you are willing to be led and fed by the Holy Sprit you will see the true meaning of it. I implore you to put God to test, he likes to be tested if you are willing to learn from him.

Selnyk, you seem to be stating something more than asking a question.
Most conversations recorded in the Bible are recaps.
No big deal ...main points are highlighted.
And why has God said nothing for 2000 years?
Oh, my poor Selnyk!
Did it ever occur to you he said everything that had to be said?
How many instruction manuals do you need with one product?

God says plenty today, It's just that not everyone can hear him. He spoke to me personally twice in my life, so far, and both times were when I needed him more than anything else--ever. He knew it and he was there to save me. He is my God and the Bible is His word.

Many authors who saw Jesus and heard Him talk wrote it down, if you read the bible, you'll find out that allot of the new testament ch.s written by authors say the same thing about what Jesus said. They fit together.
