Here was the question: "What do u think my dad did with the dogs?" posed by a 12 year old girl recently. Why are there so many sick jokes about how people think her father may have shot or BBQ'ed the dogs? Is it asking too much to try to have a little sensitivity towards children asking questions on here?

It is not bad for you to wish that other people behave decently, but if you actually EXPECT other people to be the way you want them to be, well, you'll be disappointed and you'll just annoy those people. If you non-judgementally suggest that people ought to consider being kinder, maybe someone will take it to heart, and I'm sure that is your intent with your question. But I'm sure you know that most people just don't care, and Yahoo Answers isn't a good place for a 12 year old to hang out, simply because people can say anything they want here.

It's sad, but you're kind of setting yourself up for that kind of thing when you come here to get questions answered. It's a public forum.

It is, indeed, asking quite too much. How would we know what her dad did with her bloody dogs? We're not her neighbors.
