My step mother has been quite nasty most of my life...she is great a lot of the times...but constantly is always bewrrating me...acts one way in front of my Dad...then nasty to me...manipulates a lot of situations for her own gain...telling me Im loved anyways...Im not buying it and am fed up with her bullshit...Im quite pissed & unsure whether to just leave...she's evil

TO ADD...My Dad is a great guy with COMPLETE anger issues so Its been very hard to say anything...he'll kill her if he found out 5% of the stuff she says... she even re-hooked up with her daughter (given up for adoption) there's so much i cant even think of whats been done...FYI never was THAT physically abusive...but WAS worse than she is now....Im a guy people...gay too...she probably made me this way...**** her...

If you are old enough to be on your own, move out.
Here's what I would do. Tape one of her nasty conversations and play it for your dad.

You are probably a teenage, girl. I say that because most step-parents have a problem with the "same sex child". You are a threat to her. You compete for your father's time, attention, money, and other resources.
Fortunately my step-mother was pretty cool to me but I know from my friends that that is not usually the case.
Maybe you should try secretly recording her treatment of you and then play it for your dad or even for her.
Try writing down specific situations or instances where you feel she is being abusive and then try to have a family meeting to discuss it or go out alone with your dad and tell him what's going on.
Don't run away however don't back down, either.

some steph mothers can be evil like that. Sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. Do your best to stay away from her and maybe talk to your dad one on one and let him know what is going on. If she is abusing you in any way and your father knows about it he can get into just as much trouble for not stopping it.

Yeas, It is quite possible. I know because i am in the same situation except for my dad's girlfriend isn't my step-mom(yet). So i know how you feel. If i could leave my dads house without getting my *** tore up i would!!!! So do whatever it is that you feel that you need to do best!

Talk to your dad about it but be prepared to provide plenty of scenarios to support your accusations. let him know how you feel and that you are unable to live under the current circumstances. I'm sure your father will listen to you and try to find a solution if anything he will at least talk to your stepmother. A child is by far more important to a father and don't you forget that.

Been there done that. My step mother wanted all of my fathers attention and would do everything in her power to get me in trouble. Leave if you can't take it. You should not feel unwanted in your own home. Iwanted to leave but got kicked out cause I was pregnant! Good luck!

I'm not saying that I'm right but to me it sounds as though your not wanted. My best friend's step mother did the same thing to her. To embarass her she would pick out her clothes she did that till she was in 9th grade. She made her ride her bike with training wheel till she was in 7th grade. She said that it was because she was afraid she would get hurt but she would always laugh at her in the process. God bless.

Ha I had a step mother just like that, only she threw cups at my head and dragged me out of bed by my hair because I forgot to wash a spaghetti pot.....Put me in a scalding hot bleach bath...I have lots of experience with a psychotic step mother
Oh yeah, and my father told me he didn't want to hear about it when I told him I wanted to commit suicide over her

Oh yah its possible! My dads wife hates me and generally is horrible to me too so I understand. I dont go visit him any more for this reason. (Fortunatly for me I am 24 now and dont have too)
