It started when the Europeans came over to "America" and discovered a country that was already discovered. This country was taken from the Indians. Then further down the line....the Europeans that moved to this new country went to Africa and stole human beings and made them work for their own personally gain.
So in my opinion, it has been since Christopher Columbus' "discovery". The "Europeans" didn't have respect for other races/colors/cultures. It's not 2006 that we have some kind of respect for diversity. There's still a long way to go but at least, in my opinion, we're headed in the right direction.

Sounds racist to me, people tend to leave out the full title of his theory.
Wonder why?

Racism started with sin and from there were different cultures and people there was racism that is why you have wars that were recorded in the Bible from the beginning to now. If you are different from another group of people the natural sinful man will seek to destroy of enslave the different or weeker ones. Thank God he doesn't look at us as such we are all his children and that makes us all brothers and sisters whether or not we accept it.

It started before Columbus. Racism has been here as long as there have been races. It sickens me to see people always point to the white person and cry oppression originated from them. It is worst when people say only white people are capable of racism.
