They are a man's best friend because no matter what mood you are in, the dog is there for you. If you have a house dog, have you ever noticed how when your crying the dog will walk up to you and put his/her head on your lap?? They are so lovable.
A man's worst enemy is himself. They try to blame it on us women but its not our fault that they do things wrong.
Now, diamonds are a girls best friend and a cat is a woman's worst enemy. Even though cats are trained to go to the litter box you still have to clean it out but when a dog is house trained, he/she will go outside.

Man's worst enemy is himself. Think about it. It is so true.
A dog is a man's best friend because the dog is faithful, loving without judging, will die to defend his/her master, and in bad times, in times when the master is sad, the dog is there as a faithful, loyal friend mouring with its master.
No other animal can ever be to man what a dog is.
AND.. I own both dogs and cats. I love my cats, too. They are a different creature than dogs, but they, too, love me and are very affectionate. They are darn mischievious at times and kinda wreck the place, but...I love 'em anyway.
They are like kids to me; my family. My dogs AND my cats.

Outside of a dog the book is mans best friend, Inside of a dog it is too dark to read. That is the only conclusion that I can think of.
