laugh with them. If you laugh then they will give up eventually.

As hard as it may be, try to ignore them. Most people tease and laugh out of ignorance. Ask them if they've ever ridden in a tow truck or had a tow truck rescue them? Have you ever gone on a run with your dad? What are some of the interesting or cool things your dad has done at his job? Tell those stories to your friends. You could turn the situation around by asking them what their dad does for a living. Bottom line, as long as your dad is making an honest living, give him comps. If you treat your dad with respect, they will, too.

And for you personally I would say, at least your dad is working hard and providing for you and your family. Never let ANYONE make you feel bad or try to drive a wedge between you or your family.

I also agree with an earlier response that said real friends wouldn't make fun of you.

If all else fails, run them down with the truck. :-)

Your dad is probably a hard working man who provides for his family. If your so called friends are making fun of you just because he drops you off in his tow truck. To me they aren't true friends at all. Look at it this way. One day they will need a tow truck and they will call upon you and then you can have the laugh by telling them no because they laughed at you when you were seen in one.

Ask your dad to tell you a real funny story about having to tow someones car, or maybe a really cool story about the scariest tow he ever had to do, then you could share some of these stories with your friends. Make your dads job sound cool. He works very hard for his money to provide a life for you.

Tell them that at least your dad has a job not like some of the dead beat dads who sit on their buts collecting welfare and food stamps, also your dad is doing a public service by helping people that break down on the side of the road, what if they was broke down on the side of the road then they would appreciate your dad being a tow truck driver.

Maybe have your Dad tow there cars. Or make them wait a long time when they need to be towed. Nothing to be ashamed of that your Dad actually works.

A Toyota Tacoma V4 has a towing potential of three,500lbs. So, in case your trailer is a smaller 2 horse (w/out dressing or tack) it may well be round 1500lbs-2000lbs. as an example you're fortunate and your trailer in reality weighs 1500lbs, upload on your 2000lb horse. you're proper at its towing potential. you does no longer be in a position to operate anymore weight on the trailer OR truck mattress. you're quite reducing it close.

I would not have minded going to school in a tow truck its kinda cool if they still give you crap just tell your dad not to tow their cars if they ever break down

Tell them that they better not laugh: you're going to inherit that truck and they might someday need you to tow their cars. Seriously, why would you even call them friends? Real friends don't do that.

Tell them you have a father that cares so much about you that he takes time from his job to take you to school instead of letting you walk. As many perverts and crazy people as there are in the world, your dad doesn't take chances on you walking anywhere. Ask them so how did they get to school? And how come you don't see their parents any where around?

Get their parents license number and report it so it could get towed. Dont do that, if they pick on you then you really needs to find some new friends.
