The whole concept of bluetooth was created to give your Cell phone wireless capabilities with your computer.
Its not very expensive, you should just use bluetooth technology to connect with your phone and the computer.
ITs cheaper to get bluetooth than to set up an infrared connection between your phone and your computer. Just go to http://www.ebay.com and look for a bluetooth adapater for your computer. Most cell phones already have the ability to connect to your computer using bluetooth so you will not need extra equipment for your phone.

Its less than $2 so it cant get any cheaper than that. There is no software that you can download to give you the connection. Its an equipment or hardware you need to get.

Depends what you pc and phone support. Oh and if it contact details (i.e. stuff from the SIM card) then you can get SIM card adapters for your PC although this would require qiring to your PC it frees your phone (albeit without it's SIM)
