I've had this same situation several times. Ex-boy-friends who have come to realize that they were wrong to have broken up with me because they felt they still had wild oats to sow with other women and didn't want to make a long-term commitment. For some reason, they all indicated in one way or another that they missed me and how good I was to and for them.
Unfortunately for them, I've moved on and I wasn't convinced that they had truly changed and wouldn't stray again. I suspect that they just wanted a comfortable relationship again.
If you think he is contrite and won't hurt you again, then give him a trial period. If you've moved on, tell him so and bid him 'Thanks but no thanks'. Basically, that's what I told my ex-boy-friends,
'No, but thank you for thinking of me'.

Either you accept him back or not. It is your choice to make that decision. Sometimes it is faith that bring you back. If he's not the one for you move on with life. There will be other that drop in and out.

if the feelings are still the same you should go for it most likely he has matured and will not do the same thing twice and probably realized that it was a big mistake letting you go the first time

you have to make sure that his right in coming back to you this time if not then don't give him much attention. you might end up hurting again.he did that to you before, chances are, he'll do it again.

Be friends with him....see if he's changed. If he has, go for it, give him another chance. If you can see he has not changed, don't give him another chance....its not worth it.
