Just don't make any comments like, "Nice hair." or "You have an electrifying personality." and I think you should be safe. Additionally, you might want to nix the idea of shaking hands while you're wearing wool socks. Might be some juice left over.

If you mean if they have been struck by lightning in your presence- Call 911, check to see if the person is breathing and has a heartbeat-if not, initiate CPR and treat for shock-keep warm and covered until help arrives.

my Aunt and Uncle did together while riding in a wagon when they were ten years old. My uncle Stutters and my Aunt has short term memory.not to the extreme that she doesn't know what she did or people around her...but as far as numbers and reading it's a problem....and she will cry if you say she has a handicap or a mental illness.....i don;t treat them any different than anyone else... she is one smart cookie...if she senses you are trying to talk baby talk or have some sympathy for her she is quick to tell you she's not stupid. she knows something happened to her and she wasn't born with that and she'll let you know.

i would say the same way you did before they got struck by lightning, they are still the same person and hopefully you treated them with dignity, kindness and respect then so just keep it up.

I guess that depends on the person.
If they want to talk about it - let them.
If they don't - don't make them.
They're still human beings - treat them like anybody else who's been in a car wreck or any other accident. Be sensitive, understanding, concerned, and be amazed that they made it through.
(I'm assuming you're not wanting medical information since this is the etiquette section.)
But don't let them fixate on it for the next 30 years of their life.
Life goes on! :-)

Check their pulse and breathing. If there is a pulse ensure that airways are open. If not, perform CPR. Also call for help and do what you can until professionals get there. Keep track of breathing and pulse rates for paramedics

Take them to the emergency room. If they are unconscious or badly injured, call for an ambulance.
I presume you were not referring to a person's feelings when you posted this...
