There is no proof to prove either group correct or incorrect. Maybe we should ask God himself, what's his email?

Theists are delusional, ---yeah. Until you define 'god' the same way some people define 'cheeseburger'. It's complex. It's a matter of word meaning. Don't try to get it. You won't. yet atheists believe organic life from an explosion? ---not necessarily. But I do. Granted, a bunch of stuff happened between the explosion and the life. I don't believe you can just throw a grenade and make a bunny rabbit. Again, that's a complex issue involving a willingness to understand instead of just consoling yourself that your daydream is plausible. Don't try to get it. You won't. Intricate life and complexity and interworking systems came from a random, sourceless explosion? ---sourceless? Atheists generally say they don't know what caused the Big Bang. I know, more complexity. It's got to be rough when reality refuses to be simple enough to fit on a bubblegum wrapper. How do people buy this garbage? ---well, if by 'garbage' you mean the Big Bang, abiogenesis and evolution, a lot of how they buy it is that it makes sense and fits really well with available evidence. Something that does NOT fit with evidence is the idea that an omnipotent entity loves us. But again, don't try to get it. You won't. Just go and sit by your Bible and stroke it like a kitten and 'coo' at it. Oh I'm sorry, "expansion". Additional Details Yes the evidence totally proves this bullsh*t LOL ---even if the evidence doesn't, beyond the shadow of a doubt, PROVE Big Bang, abiogenesis, evolution, the evidence still supports it as the best current model. The Abrahamic model of how it all began was the best guess 2000+ years ago (if we want to even credit it with being an honest attempt). It has since been disproven. But if you want to make all your decisions based on 'faith', well, I can't stop you.

Congratulations! You've reached the level of Agnostic! Do a little victory dance and pat yourself on the back now because it only gets more annoying for you later as you realize how many people have almost NO clue what you are talking about!
Answer: Of course!! One cannot hold a belief in the certainty of anything to the point of ignoring the possibility of future contradictory and falsifying evidence without thinking that people that disagree must be delusional!
Of course, I must add the disclaimer that there may or may not be the possibiity of such paradoxical belief sets such that one could be open-minded while being close-minded... If such a thing can exist, then I suppose it is my own delusion that such conditions are mutually exclusive...

Here is a great link on Atheists.....
http://www.atheists.org/comingout/othercloset.html
What is atheism?
The definition of an atheist is someone who is "without theism". As atheists, we see God as a legend or fairy tale, and equate God with Santa Claus and Zeus. If you actively disbelieve that Santa and Zeus exist, yet can find no reason that God should be given more credibility, you are an atheist by most definitions.
Whatever you may call yourself, be it atheist, agnostic, freethinker, or anything else, this guide is geared toward you and helping you become more comfortable telling others about your views. What Are Atheists Like?
So what are atheists like? It's hard to say. To me, one of the best components of atheism is the freedom of thought and mind. Prejudice against people of other sexes, races, or sexual preferences is rare, because most of such prejudice is religion-based and completely illogical. We argue with each other, thrive on debate, and feel like we're better people after we've been proven wrong. We do good because it's the right thing to do, not out of a selfish fear of eternal damnation or a need to "win points" with a deity.
Other than that, we are a very diverse group of people. We are writers and poets, philosophers and scientists, teachers and businesspeople, brain surgeons and truck drivers, architects and construction workers. We are men and women, black and white, republican and democrat, gay and straight, shy and outspoken. Since we are bound only by our disbelief, there are atheists with differing views on every political, economic, and social issue. I view this as a benefit which should serve as a model from which the rest of the world could learn. Atheists are united in diversity.

no i don't think theists are delusional.
they believe in god. an invisible, infallible, loving god. doesn't sound too bad right? hell i'd like that kind of god on my side.
but then come out all the crazy notions about that god.
that he hates gay people, and that he's jealous, that he kills little kids (the egyptian's first born, remember).
that part i think is delusional. when people make out this god to be f*ucking human that pisses me off. the premise is that he is a god. and that he loves us. that's enough.
i on the other hand talk to myself instead of pray to this god. i work out my problems, get over anger, and make sure i don't kill any of my idiot children (i'm a teacher for now).
doesn't make me delusional since i know exactly what i'm doing and why i do it.
same for the christians.

As with many point/counterpoint arguments, each side is actually arguing the same thing: Their side is right while the other is absolutely wrong.
Atheists will point to the assumption you made, "we can't prove the existence of God," while theists will say, "we can't disprove the existence of God."
Which side is right? It's a purely personal choice.

You can't prove it. Not really an assumption, since there is no possible way of proving the existence of god.
You can apply logic and reason, but you can't disprove it totally, mainly because:
a) you weren't there at the begining of "time" (whatever you consider that)
b) you haven't been dead yet
so, if you believe both assumptions, you are Agnostic, not delusional.

What might be real to me may not be to you, and vice versa. I just look at it as what someone believes, and that's it. I don't think that anyone is delusional for believing in something; it is good to believe in something, no matter what it is. I also think that if one doesn't give everyone a chance and judge someone on what they believe, that one would really miss out on knowing some great people.

I don't believe it's a matter of delusion, I believe it's a matter of having been blinded to the truth of what we all have, a need to know God through Jesus Christ. A-theist are just those like Pharoah in Egypt who have rejected every opportunity God has given them and he has allowed the hardness of their heart to blind them spiritually and their just reward will be eternal separation for the God they never believed in any way - it's just that they will believe in him once separated - that's the sad part.

we can prove the existance of God...you just dont want to hear it...for whatever reason.....I dont think atheists are delusional necessarily...but perhaps ...more like stubborn, hardheaded, argumentive, suffering from peace and joy envy, and all in all a cute bunch once you get to know them. Also a little crotchety for no apparent reason....I guess trying to stamp out the world wide raging fire of faith and worship for Jesus can be exhausting...Ill grant them that...stamping out the " opiate of the masses !!! "lol...
