When I converted I was at a low point in my life, vunerable. The LDS Church has more answers then other churches. They ask more questions about our beginnings and the nature of god. The heavenly mother, the pre existence, people becoming gods, marriage in heaven. They are not afraid to ask and answer questions other churches are afraid to look into. Instead of the Stock answer, We are not meant to know yet, they try to find an answer.
I am no longer a member, but that is what attracted me. I left the church mostly because of the Word of Wisdom, and the Missionaries. I had the impression that every time the elders stopped by my home, they were looking all around the house, they acted like they hoped to find a coffe pot, an ashtray, or a tea bag laying around. The church trys to hard to force themselves into every aspect of your life.

I converted some years ago when I was lonely and a wonderful group of girls came to my house and offered to show me another form of the gospel. My husband had just left me, and all the people I met that were LDS were wonderful. I wanted to be like them, and even my little daughter and I got baptized. The only thing is that I still like to drink alcohol, and they naturally frowned on that, so I felt like a hypocrite. I will never forget the wonderful people and I respect the faith a whole lot. You?

I don't know what LDS converts are, but I realize that those who are attracted to church are people who are weak, who wants to be protected, who don't want to seek the Truths by themselves, but want to be delivered to them.

You should get the other side of the story. There are many Christian websites that expose the lies of the Mormon Church.

There is no "other" gospel. There is only one.
