I think it is hard to get pregnant if you are that big, but not impossible. I met a lady who weighed about 450, and she got pregnant and didn't realize she was pregnant until she went to the ER with abdominal pain she initially thought was her gallbladder It turned out to be a very tiny baby girl. To make a long story short. Her weight finally killed her and the little girl is being raised by adoptive parents now. I am totally serious.
An aquaintance of mine who weighed about 4 or 5 hundred pounds went in for bariatric surgery and died from a clot the day after the surgery. She left behind a 5 year old.
I think she should get her weight down first. Then entertain the idea of pregnancy.

The best advice I can give your friend is for her to find a good OB/GYN and a bariatric surgeon, she should also consult a psychologist or psychiatrist and a nutritionist to help her develop a plan for a longer and healthier future for herself and any children.
Obesity can cause many medical issues which would prevent her from being able to conceive, not to speak of the fact that getting pregnant at her high weight it is highly discouraged. At that weight, her heart, and lungs are under a great deal of stress and a pregnancy would only complicate those issues and create a high risk pregnancy, she and her baby could suffer terribly. I highly recommend that she set her sights first on getting her weight under control, and the issues that surround that before getting pregnant, afterall, she would want to be around for that child and participate in it's life and, at that weight, she is a timebomb waiting to explode! Please encourage your friend to get help to get her body and life in a better place rather than get pregnant at this point in her life.

I have known a few obese women who were able to conceive, but miscarried every time. Obesity almost always brings on health issues. These issues may or may not prevent a woman from becoming pregnant, but they will be a huge factor in carrying the baby to term.

Also, weight can interfere with a woman's menstrual cycle, making it difficult to conceive.

Generally speaking most (but not all!) obese women have a hard time conceiving. This is due to the fact that fat stores estrogen, the more fat you have, the more estrogen you have in your body, and because of this excess estrogen, many obese women don't ovulate on a regular basis, or have normal menstrual cycles. If you don't ovulate, you can't get pregnant.

There's always a chance that, even since she is so large, she could still have a regular menstrual cycle and get pregnant, but it would be very hard on her body.

My feeling is that she's probably unable to concieve being as large and unhealthy as she (probably) is.

I know many many obese people that have gotten pregnant but I have also been told it is harder to get pregnant if you are obese. My suggestion to you is to kindly suggest to lose some weight not only for her future child but for her own health before she gets pregnant. If she really is at 500 lbs then I suggest losing about 300 pounds. Easier said than done I know. She need to look in to taking care of herself before taking on motherhood.

Giving birth to a new life is indeed a blessing which almost every woman would wish to have. How to get pregnant naturally https://tr.im/urzCs
Enjoying the feeling of motherhood and raising a family would surely be a couple’s dream. Some get it naturally, while for some others things don’t seem to work as they desire. These reasons which stop a women from conceiving can be due to either physical reasons or truly physiological.
