There is no such thing as too old for sex so there is something else going on.
You don't say how old you two are or how long you've been together but here are some possibilities:
1. She may have a hormonal issue, or suffer from depression. Either can kill her desire to want sex.
2. She doesn't enjoy sex with you. There are lots of reasons this can be. Many women are taught as kids to not like it; that sex is wrong and dirty.
3. Maybe she isn't comfortable with her body and doesn't know what pleases her.
4. Maybe you have never taken the time to figure out what pleases her.
5. Maybe she is all worn out after a day of work, housework and the kids (helping her out more may fix this one)
6. Maybe you are a selfish lover and she not only doesn't get much physical pleasure but doesn't feel wanted and loved either.
7. Some men are so pushy about sex, that a woman can begin to feel she has no choice and that may cause her to lose interest.
8. She could have an infection that has left her irritated.
9. She could be gay and just have dealt with that issue (not that common but does happen even to married women.)
In other words, there are a few different reasons. You need to ASK to try to understand before you can change her mind.
First stop may be a doctor. She can get a full checkup and tell the doc she isn't interested in sex anymore. The doc can figure out if it is something he can fix with a pill or creme.
If that doesn't solve it, look for a good sex therapist. Until then try backing off on the request for a while and just enjoy hugging, cuddling and those versions of sex she does enjoy. Taking the pressure off may do the trick.

Spice up the sex life! Try new things, play, try new positions, buy some toys, nothing too wild, but explore and have a little fun!
