with full color illustration of the masters..da vinci last supper painting in the bible with no cup and no church believes da vinci was a master,but it there...whats your opinion

I think that Leonardo painted the the last supper 1500 years after it happened and it is not a photograph. He could have done anything he wanted with the painting. I'm sure the people in it were modifications of people he actually knew (faces changed slightly to protect the innocent). He may have just forgotten to include the "challis" or maybe he choose not believe that it exists or may he thinks it's not that important. I also do not see basins in the painting but apparently he washed the disciple's feet. Finally the fact that this painting is in an English translation of the bible, I would not read too much into. BTW the Da Vinci code was a great work of fiction but lets see real proof before accepting too much.
