You are correct. There is no god. Mythology has nothing to do with the real world and god, like all pixies, ghosts, leprechauns and other such things, are imaginary.
Nothing more.

Dear friend - you have been misinformed and you come from a place of pain, angre and lonliness.
1 - God is not a bearded old man looking down on us. God is pure energy.
2 - God is simply a word used for the whole of creation, everything you see, hear, say, think, do and are!!!!
3 - The bible is written like a story book for 'spiritual children' to try to understand the spiritual energy that runs through it. It does contain facts but we have to be discerning about it because it was afterall written by man!
4 - You are correct in thinking that the world is such a crazy mixed up place that the return of Jesus would probably be misinterpreted, but lets be honest, it WAS way back then when they nailed him to the cross for saying the same thing!!!
5 - Religion is man made but spirituality is part of our existance whether we believe it or not, stick around for a few more years until the collective conciousness has been raised and you may find you have changed your mind.
6 - Great Creator created this physicality and gave us free will in order to inform Him/Her/It what He/She/It was NOT.
7 - Everything that is not good in this world is created by and comes from humankind NOT God!!!!! In the beginning we lived in heaven on earth until one human decided that they wanted 'power' for themselves and not for the greater good of all. As time passed we moved futher from our spiritual selves because people forgot who they really were - that is why we all only use 10% of our brains nowadays and why some of us insist that there is not a God !!

There really is no explanation for where God originated from - we have limited knowledge of ourselves or the universe around us let alone God. The one thing to ask yourself is did all the things in the universe just fall into place by chance? How come there is such uniformity throughout the universe - this doesn't happen by chance.
If evolution theory was correct shouldn't there be some huimans with additional sense organs or highly evolved ones - where are these or doe we think human form is the pinnacle of evolution?
If evolutionary theory was correct then where are the humans still evolving from monkeys?
You many like to check out some teachings from Hinduism, which teaches us that we are eternal spirit souls inhabiting material bodies. The soul is neither created nor destroyed but instead reincarnates and takes on numerous bodies in its search for happiness.
The soul has acquired this material body due to its desire to enjoy separately from God and will only find happiness when it realises that there is no permanent happiness in this material universe.

I certainly do not believe that there is or ever was a God, so on that point we do agree, and I agree with you 100%.
Where we seem to disagree is in our opinions of this 'crap' world!
Because I am an atheist this doesn't mean that I think things on earth would improve if there were a God!
I dont have any 'Holy books' to guide my way, I dont need them, I certainly dont need any church or religion to 'guide' me on to the 'right path'!
I consider that I have led a decent life and an enjoyable one I know what I consider to be right or wrong, without any lead from religion!
I do my best to respect my fellow man, (even the religious nutters).
If my life came to a sudden end I would have no regrets about the way I have lived, and I know that I would be leaving this life to enter a deep and dreamless sleep!!
No heaven or hell just oblivion ! I am about the same as all others except I dont have any hang up about a life here after.
So although I agree with your sentiments there is no need for you to have such a 'down' on life or mankind , it's great to be alive, make the best of it !

No, I'm not like you at all. There is a God; however, you're too full of yourself to open your eyes. The reason the world is the way it is is because of sin and the curse it brings along with it. I'm not expecting to make you believe. Just from reading this Q., I can already tell you have hardened your heart against the truth. Fools say there is no God.
God is evidenced in creation itself. Look around you and see the order that is there behind the chaos caused by sin. Consider other nations with their religions and god-concept; they have a concept of a god, just not the right one. All in all, the one true living God I serve is a just, holy God. He knows what He's doing, even though we peon humans can't possibly comprehend His doings; so don't try to think you know who God is. You don't know the first thing about Him. All you're doing is building God's wrath upon you.
Humble yourself and repent!

First let me say how funny it is to see so many people making comments about God when they don't believe in God.
Before you believe you need to know where to look for God. God has been here before time, he has always been, and always will be. People say they don't believe because if there was a God he would not let all the bad things happen, well that's rubbish why should he stop the bad things, he didn't start it, we need to admit to our own faults first, the so called bad things are our doing.
You talk of this earth being the hell hole we live in, yes that's because we make it that way, a lot to do with believing what man has written in a story book called the bible, yes there is truth in it, but a lot changed so man can profit, just read it and yo can see for yourself, but people will see what they want to see in the bible if it suits them it's ok, religion is man made not made by God, all God wants is for us to have faith not only in him, but in ourselves, and each other.
As far as God doing anything to you, you do it to yourself the fact you cold and lonely shows you have not even got faith in yourself.
Your right in what you say about Jesus if he came back today he would be locked up, but he won't come back because we don't deserve him.
Back to the first part of your question YES I do believe in God, he gives me the faith i have in myself, because of him I am not cold, or lonely. I have seen so much to know that God loves us all, even though some still reject him, or kill in his name.
I'm not asking you to change what you believe, but please start having faith in yourself, there are people to love you in the world all you need is faith.
Love & Peace....

God gave people a mind of there own. He wants devotion to Him because they choose to give it, not by force. After creation, sin entered the world. As a result, every living creature born since then was born with a sinful nature. It's because of this sinful nature that we are world is the way it is. And while we would try and Lock him up, Jesus would not be locked up.
By the way I, there is a book called "90 Minutes in Heaven." It's about a man who literally died in a car wreck. The paramedics, police, etc., declared him dead, because there was no sign of life. This man, then went to Heaven. Later, a preacher stopped by and asked to pray for him, because the preacher was impressed by God to do so. As you can guess, 90 minutes after being declared dead, the man started breathing again. The man is Don Piper, a well known Christian speaker.

No i wish i did! this whole thing is weird eh? the god thing is to form some sort of conformity, i think we're ALONE in the god theory. it seems so unfair we dont know! have you noticed it's a male thing the curiosity of life? i do have a theory that we've been somewhere else (mankind that is) we have to question why we find the earth and it's surroundings so beautifull? the earth is a fantastic place it's just been f*$£%d by us! and at the end of the day what are we doing on this planet, all i see is we consume! is it our job to go through the universe cleaning it up as we go? i could go on for days with this one!!!

Sorry to burst your bubble but yes there is a God and he made this world for us to live in so we could learn our selves what it takes to become better. I and all other people agree that we as a collective group haven't done so well. As for your questions time its self is not natural and can be bent, God has made time as a way for us to learn. We are just here for a little bit to learn about things like pain, happiness, choice, and all the other things that he wants us to learn to be more like him. Yes we live in a hell hole but there is also a reason for that. You are responsible to try to make it a better place and will be judged on that. Also the loneliness comes from the lack of remembrance he has put upon us so we would be better able to make our own choices and not be unduly influenced by our previous knowledge of him.

Yep! I definately believe. I used to have alot of questions too, still do, but just because everything doesn't make sense, it doesn't mean God is not there. Where did God come from? Not my business. The world WAS created. it WAS perfect. Humanity's sin is what condemmed it. But belief on Jesus frees us, were not perfect, just forgiven. This world is not the be all end all of everything. Heaven is. I pray that you will come to know Jesus as your personal saviour. And questions are good, the more you ask the more you learn.
God Bless You,

Being a logical person and someone who believes in proof I ahev to day Yes I do believe in God. I have been saved a few times and I don't put it down to coincidence or luck.
Religion on the other hand is different tuna. Religion has been the cause of more death in this world than the other things put together. So God? Yes! Religion? No!
