The trinity is not a biblical teaching, no matter what preachers say! Jesus said himself that the father is greater than he is!
John 14:28 YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.
And he also said that he went his way to the father. Does that sound like they are the same?
1 Cor. 11:3 “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ. It should be noted that this was written about 55 C.E., some 22 years after Jesus returned to heaven. So the truth here stated applies to the relationship between God and Christ in heaven.)
What is the origin of the Trinity doctrine?
The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.”—(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126.
The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.
In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.

It's not that they split up into 3 parts. The trinity if Father Son and Holy Spirit right. The Father is God The son is Jesus who in the old testament been called the Angel of God and the Holy Spirit is the help (like an angel) that was sent to God's people 7 weeks after Easter (when Jesus was crucified) This was pentacost. It's not that there is duality God is always first Jesus was sent as a sacrifice in order to mend the relationship between God and His people.

There is only ONE God, and he is the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The question in it self is to BIG for us to wrap our tiny little minds around it. Read the bible and go to God in prayer for the answer. In Genesis God said "us"
Genesis 1:26
26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
Genesis 3:22
22 And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."
Isaiah 6:8
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
ONE GOD, THREE PERSONS.

Hinduism has a Trinity of sorts (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva)
But the Chrisitan God did not split himself in three parts. He has one part with three main representations of himself.
God simply shows himself in three ways, thats all.

Many religions teach multiple Gods.
Unfortunately, the church strayed from the Bible and developed heretical doctrines, such as the trinity.
This is not a biblical teaching!

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?
Jesus? Christianity? .
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Gods do not die? Do they?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?
If Jesus died for our sins, thre should not be any more sins.
If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

Well it is the three God heads which in it self is just one God The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Just as you have a Father and are a son with a spirit.... =) correct... is that not what you have... Is that not where you came from your mothers womb and not from another man.. You see you cannot create life with two men nor two woman.. =)
Please ask more questions.. =) I enjoy them.

It's to manifest into different forms for our benefit. God our eternal father, Christ the man form that died for our sins, and the holy spirit that resides in us if we are saved.
Peteszmsg - better take another look at your bible.
