To those who answered my OT question regarding life expectancy. WTF? Do you really think people lived that long, that there was a great flood and SCIENCE explains this better than it explains evolution? What about all the other hominid species, what about then age of the planet? WTF?

Maverick..."why you would be wasting your short little time here pondering the possibilities and questioning others faith"
because religion is ever encroaching on public life, schools etc. It is important to ridicule religion

Your ignorance is only surpassed by your ability to create disharmony because you lack faith in your own belief paradigm. You are a truly sad person.

Actually Science has trouble completely explaining allot of things thats why we have scientific theories such as evolution...its all about what you have faith in...Now I ask if you do not believe in life after death why you would be wasting your short little time here pondering the possibilities and questioning others faith. Eat drink and be merry if tommorow you die.

Okay now I remember you from previous questions. No matter I still like answering your questions because your man who questions his own self..=)
Well lets just take a look where the word science comes from. =)
Ever since, the attainment of knowledge has been one main goal of humanity. Over the last two or three centuries this has expressed itself in an ever-increasing emphasis on science. ( Our English word science is directly derived from scientia, the Latin word for "knowledge")
Go back to the book of Genesis in the Bible.
Historically, there have been various routes that humanity has followed in seeking independence from God. The first is knowledge. Now humor me for sec.. I know you might not believe but just put this into perspective. In the Garden of Eden there were two speical trees-- the tree of life and the tree of knowledge. It was a critical moment in history, when Adam and Eve turned away from the tree of life and chose the tree of knowledge.
Something for you to chew... thanks for the quetion.. =)
And science can never prove it... I know..you need hard edveince.. but there are so many things that science..or Knowledge cannnot for fill questions that are never meant to be answered..

What if instead of measuring years in sun revolution you consider moon revolutions. That way a 900 year old man is in reality on 32 and I would think that a good life time for some one at that time. Maybe where the bible refers to man no longer living that many year it was a reference to switching to solatr revolutions rather than lunar

Friend you need to get a little more current on your knowledge of science . You have believed a lie and it is affecting your judgment.
Just one thing-you don't believe in a global flood. How???-----
how did millions of clam fossils get on top of nearly every mountain? Aren't clams on the bottom of the ocean. When a clam dies-does it fall up to the mountain top, or does someone go out and gather clam shells and deposit them there just to trick us? Since the 1980"s scientist have been exploring theories that do not agree with what you think. check it out.

Yeah science does explain it better than it can evolution, because there are too many holes in evolution theory. Ya know what science can't figure out, though??
... WHY our bodies are designed to renew themselves and yet after awhile the process slows, eventually stopping all together and so we age and die. Hmmmmmmm.

Evolution exists on a very small level of change ( i.e. diet, color, ) If true evolution existed then where are the missing pieces? If a fish turned into a bird then where are the fish-birds? there has to be evidence of the progress and we cant find them. God made everything and nothing has changed or evolved. You might as well be talking to your shoes. Religious people are convinced that they are right and no amount of reasoning will dissuade them from their opinions. Let's not forget that Christianity caused a thousand years of the Dark Ages. Imagine how far ahead this planet would be if ancient Greek and Egyptian science had been allowed to flourish...

Question where are all the "hominid" species? Don't you think it is a bit convienient that they all disapeered?
Yes we believe in the Bible and yes we will continue to believe in the Bible. It is hard for us to trust man, when man admits he does not know all and it is easy for us to trust God because God says he knows all:
Psa 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.

You are blinded by Satan.
Evolution is nothing more than a theory devised by unbelievers in an attempt to appease their own conscience, as they chose not to accept God.
