i have a philippine passport,i want to visit thailand or vietnam.do i need a visa,or an invitation to go there

no invite needed.
if you're going to Thailand for less than 30 days, you don't require a visa
as for Vietnam, it's best you check with the Vietnam embassy near you or just get a "visa on arrival" as the US isn't one of the countries that do not require a visa, and not all ASEAN countries are eligible either.

You do not need a visa for Thailand up to 30 days visa-free, but will require one to go into Vietnam. Check with the Vietnam mission from your country to see if you need to get it beforehand or whether you can apply at the arrival airport.

If you hold Philippine passport, you could stay in Singapore for 15 days without tourist Visa. Check their immigration website to confirm.

philippines is in Asean country as well as Thailand so you don't need visa. You'll get visa on arrival for 30days but you still need to obtain visa to go to Vietnam.

Yeah. You need to apply for a visa...I think you can do it on the country websites. It doesn't matter what country you are flying from - it's the country that your passport was issued that counts.
