Usually about 6 months from the time of diagnosis, but it can vary anywhere from a few days to 12 months. It depends on the person, how long they have had it, where it has spread from, where it might have originated, etc.

Due to the way the organ exsists, it depends on wheter it's can be excised. If it can be excised, the expentancy isn't great but it's more than 12 months.
If it can't be excised, we're talking about 6 months on average.
Just like any other cancer, it depends on how early it is detected and whether therapy can be tolerated.

Depends. What stage is it? Has it metasticized (moved to other areas)?
You won't live forever, but if it's early stage that hasn't moved, you'll live longer than someone with late stage.
My friend's mom had breast cancer that spread to her liver, and they gave her three months to live, and she lived five years - more than four of which with a reasonable quality. A friend of my mom's had pancreatic cancer, and they gave her six months without treatment, a year with treatment, and she lived fourteen months. So, it's really hard to say.

My friend's husband died of cancer of the liver in Sept. He found out he had it in Feb. He took chemo for awhile but it didn't really help. So, what about 8 months? I don't know how long he really had it before he found out in Feb. I hope this helps.

Depends on the type. If it is pancreatic cancer, less then 6 months if it has spread.

You really cant say.. If it is localized or if it has spread first of all. If it is localized and the body is responding well to treatment you have a good chance. Good luck.
