You are probably Muslim or African I suppose and it may be allowed in your culture to marry more than one wife. I have never believed that a man can ever love two women equally and that in itself brings jealousies and endless bickering. It is always a tricky situation and there is bound to be tension and friction throughout if you do decide to marry a second wife. Even if your current wife agrees to the idea, I am sure it will affect her negatively and may even send her to her grave earlier. Why not just support her and give her all the love she needs to heal, or at least die gracefully? Then you can marry as a widower with no remorse. You do not want to try something only to divorce one of them because it is not working, and it might give you more stress and heartache trying to juggle conflicting demands. There is a saying that two women can never share the same kitchen.

What you're really asking is "if my wife is sick, can i get a replacement in bed?" The answer is NO, dummy, even if at first she agrees. A second marriage is always a bad influence. Big Love is only a TV show.

well, first... i can understand how your wife is feeling and so she wants you to have a second family, but bear in mind that she should be the priority coz she was the one who consented you to get another wife...and she is sick... so all in all... she wants you to be happy but have it occur to you that she will not be happy...of course she consented but deep down inside her, do you think she want you to do that... i am a woman and i understand how a woman function... think again then make the decision wisely
good luck and i will pray for your wife's early recovery...

you can be married to people at the same time well in some countires its alright but in Ireland it not
Ethically and morally wrong do you not remember your wedding vowels tilldeath do us part, in sickness and in health
You should be supporting your sick wife not going off with other women weither she agrees or not you are really really selfish even to think of this question

I think you are saying that you wife is sick enough to let you go and let you have a better life? That is mighty noble of her, but the morality of this is not up to me, that is your choice.

In the UK thats illegal. Where are you from? Try helping your wife instead of helping yourself to another wife.
