Well I am no Longer Anti But when I was it was because I thought it was wrong and even evil, I got upset and lashed out partly because when a Mormon talked to me about the trinity which I used to believe in it seemed their "GODHEAD" made more since in minutes then what I had been taught my whole life! I had been taught that God is just incomprehensible and LDS don't believe that and every Bible Verse seems well understood with LDS interpretation of Bible Verses. I think also some follow rumors instead of facts . Here is a great article by someone I have allot of respect for because her personally answered my emails as an anti JEFF LINDSEY!
PS I am now Mormon/LDS

I'm another Christian and I think LDS is fine. You may feel better know that I take crap for not hating the Mormons. Strange, huh? I hear all the time about how bad they are (mostly from the fundamental church goers)."LDS is not Christian" is my favorite line. Funny. I thought that all you had to do was believe that Jesus was the son of God? The LDS church in my town rocks. The people are really nice. They open the church every year for a community Christmas concert with all the churches in town participating. None of the Baptist churches ever come. On the other hand, my church (United Church of Christ) goes ever year. We send our choir and our handbell ringers. It's a great time and the LDS do all the work. They decorate and make cookies and punch and print the programs.... It's alot of work and they do it gladly.
If you feel you have found a home with the Mormons and you feel closer to God than you did yesterday then you go for it. I'm happy for you.
Peace.

because the LDS church is the only true church on the face of the earth and Satan knows it so he has got to put a lot of opposition around it. If it were that easy to just be LDS and have no one tell us how evil and corrupt the church was - that would mean Satan gave up already. Things will get even worse for the LDS church members as time goes on but we know in the end, will be all be OK.
(PS. I am sure a lot of the people who answer will be typing a lot of crazy things they have heard or believe. Remember that we know the truth in all of it, and just laugh it off. It will be very interesting to read what people have heard, or believe themselves about the Mormon religion!!)

Well if any Christian hates you then they are going against everything that thier religion believes in. The whole church of the latter day saints thing gives people a bad impression because mormans believe in a whole differnt message that christians don't. The man who founded the mormon religion was seen as crazy and a liar by the people who lived during his time. He also believed that he was the only one who could read a new book of the bible out of a magic hat with magic stones...to many christians and other people who look at this with an open mind..its crazy. But then again no more crazy then being catholic and thinking forgiveness for your sins comes from saying "hail mary's". Just believe what you want and if your friends persecute you for what you believe then they aren't your real friends. Just don't force your beliefs onto anyone because no offence you guys get really annoying with your door knocking.

There will always be people who has different views on anything, some express it more strongly than others, and some are just down right ignorant. There is many anti sites, and there are also truthful LDS sites. Yet, many choose to belief the false sites, or just accept what someone said as accurate.
Any how, the Chinese has a saying
" Rumor cease before the wise"
The adversary is working hard, so shall we to labor for The Host of righteousness.

Christians would rather you be agnostic. Why?
Because the LDS is a cult. Everyone knows that. And it is worse to believe in the false Jesus than to believe in no Jesus at all.

I look at these anti-mormons as people who don't have a clue as to what they are talking about. Many have been given false information from their churches or other sources and rather than take the time to learn what's true they just believe what they are told. These people attack the church because they are afraid of things they don't understand.

Such hatred has no place in the personality of anyone who would hope to follow Christ Jesus. Ironically, it is devout groups trying to follow the commands of Jesus who are most likely to be singled out for persecution by so-called self-described "Christians"!
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) “Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

The Mormons make the rest of the Christians nervous because they are veering off of the mainstream accepted theology. Jesus came to North America? I can have more than one wife in heaven? I can be a god in heaven? This stuff makes others cringe. It's pretty radical but wasn't Christianity just as radical when it branched off of Judaism?
If you want to believe any of this foolish stuff, Christianity or Mormon Christianity, it's your own problem. But I will tell you that it's all bogus.
