Philosophically, it is impossible to prove anything is true, you can only prove things are false. The only thing close is tautology which really only proves things are true if the assumptions are true, but you cannot prove assumptions are true.
That is the reason science disproves hypotheses and does not prove things are true. Science provides proof without certainty.
Sorry the words were not simple, but words like tautology do not have a simple equivalent. You are asking one of the toughest questions mankind has ever had to deal with.
You cannot prove God exists. You can only prove something is false. You can show something is highly likely or highly unlikely, but truth is unattainable through reason.

Can you really prove that I exist? You can't really prove that anything exists. In the world of dreams nothing inside the dream is real outside the dream. But your perception when you are inside the dream is as real to you as what you perceive when you are awake.
To someone who has convinced themselves God doesn't exist no amount of logic or observation will change their mind. They will say things like science proves God doesn't exist. They will tell you science has proved everything started with a big bang and it's just an accident of evolution we are here. But they won't be able to answer what caused the bang.
You don't have to see God to prove the existance of God to yourself. You didn't see me type this response but you can read it. You don't have to understand all the various mechanisms involved that happened between the time I write it and when you read it to know that there is a very good probability I exist.
You want ABSOLUTE 100% IRREFUTABLE proof God exists. Sorry I can't give it to you. But look up into the night sky. Our galaxy contains about 200 billion stars and it's just an average size. And there are about 200 billion galaxies we know about(how many don't we know about). Think about all the complexities envolved in them. Then think about this. What would be different if frozen water didn't float?
Who figured out how all this would fit together? I'm going to call that being GOD!
I hope that answers your and the teachers question.

I know God exists because of all the evidence I see around me. All God's creations show that God exists. Does anybody truly believe that a human being happened by accident. Can anybody truly believe all the animals and plants happened by accident. When you see a hummingbird hovering feeding on a flower, can you believe it was all an accident. Some will tell you all these things happened by accident. The people who say these things happened by accident do not want to believe there is a creator. Once a person admits there is a creator and that creator is God, then they realise that God expects certain things from them. These people want to do as they please, they do not want to answer to God. Being a good person may be too hard for them. To admit their is a God and to follow God is a life changing thing. Many people do not wnat to change their lives. Does the teacher have to see her own heart to know it is there. Does the teacher remember seeing her mother give birth to her. Do I really know you asked the quection " does God really exist". After all, I can not see you. Maybe it was my computer that asked the question. No, I have FAITH that you asked the question. I have FAITH that God exists.

It is impossible to prove it to someone who doesn't want to know, but there is reason to believe that God really does exist.
When you look at a beautiful building, have you ever wondered who the builder was? If someone told you that no one had built the building, but that it had simply come into existence by itself, would you believe it? Of course not! As a Bible writer said: "Every house is constructed by someone." Everyone knows that. Well, then, can we not accept the logical conclusion of the Bible writer;"He that constructed all things is God"? (Hebrews3:4)
Consider the universe with its billions of billions of stars. Yet all of them move in the heavens according to laws that keep them in perfect relation to one another, "Who has created these things?" was a question asked long ago. The answer given makes sense:"It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls by name."(Isaiah40:26) Surely it would be foolish to think that the billions of stars just made themselves, and, without direction, formed the great star systems that move with such marvelous order! (Psalm14:1).
This highly organised universe could not have just come about by itself. An intelligent Creator with great power was needed.(Psalm19:1&2) A businessman who was asked why he believed in God explained that in his factory it takes two days for a girl to learn how to put the 17 parts of a meat chopper together."I am merely a plain manufacturer of cutlery," he said. "But this I do know, that you can shake the 17 parts of a meat chopper around in a washtub for the next17 billion years and you'll never have a meat chopper." This universe, including the many forms of life on earth are much more complicated than a meat chopper. If such a machine requires a skilled maker, we can be certain that an Almighty God was needed to create all things. Should not credit go to him for what he has done?(Revelation4:11: Acts14:15-17:Acts17:24-26.
While most people say they believe in God, many do not think of him as a real person. Is he? Well, it can be seen that where there is intelligence there is a mind. For example, we may say, 'I cannot make up my mind,' And we know that where there is a mind there is a brain in a body of a definite shape. So, then, the great mind responsible for all creation belongs to the great Person, Almighty God. Although he does not have a material body, he has a spiritual one. A spirt person has a body? Yes the Bible says: "If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one."(1Corinthians15:44 John 4:24).
Since God is a person with a spiritual body he must have a place to live. The Bible tells us that the heavens are God's established place of dwelling."(1Kings8:43) Also we are told that "Christ entered ....into heaven itself, now to appear before the person of God for us." (Hebrews9:24).

Sorry but you CAN"T either prove nor disprove God. What you CAN do is read all of the different religious texts and get a general idea of the NATURE of Godliness. After a few years of studying how many ancient religions viewed God and Gods (as I have) you'll come to understand that most likely there isn't a God and if there is, people have so misunderstood who he, she or it really is that the best you can do is simply live the best life you can by doing your small part to make the world a better place. Since every religion will claim to have the first, last, best and only right word on God you quickly realize that SOMEONE has to have it wrong. You then realize that ALL OF THEM probably have it wrong and it becomes a personal choice to have a God in your life or not. If you CHOOSE to have one, the best thing to do is have a simple and personal relationship with him, her, it and keep in mind that the whole point in having one is to make your life and the lives of those around you better than they would have been without him, her, it. And if you choose not to have one, you'll know that it's your personal responsibility to do the same thing as if you did have one.

Well....anyone can plant a tree but who on this earth can create a tree? You can make an argument that because of mutations and cross breading different plants and animals exist but how did that first life start? No one on this earth has been able to create life. Where did we receive our guidance for living? How do babies know to eat or why do we feel bad if we do something wrong?
There is nothing that tells us how life started that has "solid" evidence to back up how it happened. So without any evidence you or I can believe anything we want. God exists in your belief, for now.
If you can find an answer that makes you feel calm and relaxed inside then that is the right answer. Best of luck.

Your question is harmless as it is innocent. Yet extremly important that it gets answered correctly. Their is no such thing as religion only faith. Faith is beleiving that god exists. I know you probably have heard this a lot, but. You can't see air but it exists because if it did'nt you would'nt be breathing right now, right. The existince of god lies, truely in your heart and soul. Your soul already knows the answer to your question. Just because you can't see him does'nt mean he is'nt their watching you, looking over you. You can beleive in science and that everything that happens has a logical explination to it and that everything operates in the boundries of the laws of nature. Or you can beleive in the lord. But its much more than that. You can also beleive that their are laws of nature and that their is a balance of life that always exists. But at the same time realize that it took the ability of a higher power to make this. Who is god? I don't know. When Jessus died he basicly gave god a face. No matter what is said towards your question only you will be able to make that leap of faith and begin to walk the path of salvation or believe what everyone else believes. Their is no god. Or thier is a god but I can still do what ever I want because god is real but he has no control over me. Life is a journey and your living it right now. I hope you reach your destination safely. I feal like I have'nt acheived any thing in this answer because no matter what I say you will be the only one that can make the final decision. I'm afraid that I might not have been convincing enough. Good luck in your life and may god bless your soul. God speed.

If you ever read the Bible with understanding you would see the awesome power of God. You would see how the Bible comes together from the Old Testament to the New Testament hundreds of year apart. In the Old Testament it talks about what the people would be doing when Jesus is crucified.
Psalms 22.
How about when God talks to Job about the Dinosaurs.
Job 40:15-24...
I hope this helps you to see that God Almighty is real...

Christians will often answer this kind of question with "look at the trees" or "look at the stars. Isn't that proof enough?" No it's not. They will often also say he is "unknowable" or "you will not truly know him until you die" and "You have to have faith". Faith isn't proof as I've said to people who've given that line before. So really there is no way as of yet to prove god really exists.

I dont know what you are being taught in school, but your teacher wasnt around when there was a big bang that made the world either! There are many ideas about how the world began, but science is not always fact, alot of it is theory. To answer your question though..... i dont have to prove anything to you, but I have proof in my own heart that there is a God because of my many life experiences. You should just continue to explore and think, that is a good way to find things out for yourself!
