Wow what a pointed question.
I do not think you want an answer.
Maybe you should look at the use of allegory and metaphor and other literary devices.
I see a lot of hostility and rage hidden in your words. I hope you can find the peace you desire in life whatever your religious beliefs may be. It is always hard when quotes from the Bible are taken out of context and addressed. This is common for "believers" and "non believers" alike.
I feel bad that someone or something has turned you away from peace and acceptance of others faiths. Being argumentative is seldom worth the effort and the righteous feeling it temporarily gives is addictive like a drug and harmful.
Personally I do not think you will not find a perfect religion because man will always interpret it and man is always flawed. What people do find is a truth that resonates with in themself and a desire to live a more harmonious life despite ones flaws and stumblings. Too many people get wrapped up in the study of the trees and never see the forest. The Bible especially the new testament, should tell you that a huge sacrafice was made for mankind, that anyone can be forgiven the flaws that seperate us from the perfection of the creator. That it is important to know that this life is temporary and no matter the hardships you face there is a better place for you. That all men should be treated respectfully. The beattitudes are the core, the parables are the lessons. Acceptance, love, kindness, the desire to live a good life, to be honest and treat others fairly, to be non judgemental and accepting of others these are the messages people should be getting. If these are not the messages you are getting then I think you are misssing the true story.
Life matters, how we treat each other matters, how we accept those who differ from us matters, what we choose, our humility, and a host of other things all matter.
Life is short. do not waste it in hatred and arguement.
Seek what brings you peace.
I wish you a long and fulfilling life.

The answer is a simple no. But I do agree that some of the comments made to you, me, and others that I have read here in this forum, would lead one to believe so. All I can tell you is that true Christianity does not promote the things you mentioned. The teachings of Jesus Christ are all about Love and Peace. I really have to try and promote that in my daily walk with the Lord. I am truly sorry that others a prejudged you, and I for one will not do that. I do not look down on you, when I say I will pray for you and I do truly Love you and wish you the best. One Christian guy, trying to cover for the rest I guess. God Bless You

Aww honey, you are very confused. So I'll try and make it simple for you.
"in matthew it says do not think ive come for peace ive come with a sword" You've taken what He said out of context. He was talking about His ministry, the things He was saying were very un-Jewishlike. He was saying that He knew that forever afterward His "story" would be controversial. He was right huh.
"Does christianity promote cannibalism? eat my flesh and drink my blood? " - Absolutely not. You again take the entire scene out of context. We drink wine and eat bread, as a symbol of rememberance of the blood that He shed, and flesh that was brutalized. So we can remember that He died to save us.
"does it promote liars thieves and serial killers do not kill but murder is ok?" - You'd have to be more specific, the commandment "Do not kill" actually means do not murder. Where was it stated that murder is okay?
"stealing is wrong 100% so that makes it more tempting?" - okies, that's actually correct, stealing is wrong and yeah, that does make it tempting. But it's still wrong. So what is your problem with this one? I don't really understand.
"Jesus saved you so you can lie for him?" - If someone is lying, they are not speaking for Jesus. End of story hon.

I think that scripture is more complex than you could possibly imagine. From your point of view, you are reading the Bible: a book with religious figures, terms and phrases, however, if you could connect with it in spirit, you'd be reading the Word of GOD....in the Word, there is life, there is meaning.
1.) Don't think I've Come for Peace, I've come with the sword.... Matthew 10:34
Christ was using this scripture and the following scriptures to describe the testing that he would place on man....truning man from his Father, daughter from Mother. If one is willing to forsake something as dear as family in the name of CHRIST was proven as worthy. We do not promote hate...
2.) Cannibalism?
Again, NO! You notice that when Christ was performing the communion, HE was using bread and wine as symbols of flesh and blood. This ceremony allows us to connect to Christ in that, HE is part of us. We do not eat of the flesh of others.
What has turned your heart to the 1 true and living GOD? Was it an experience in childhood, a disappointment, what? Either way, despite how much you hate us, I pray that you Be Blessed...You still have a friend in Jesus...but only if you want HIM in return.

No. I looked at the questions under your name. What is with all the hatred you have? These are silly questions and they take up bandwidth. You must have been treated terribly by someone calling themselves Christian for you to have this much hate. It must be terrible to be so angry. Psychologically, anger is the serious rejection of something. The playful rejection is mischeviousness. The alternative of course would be conformity. I don't care if you conform, but I am concerned about you as a person. It takes a lot of time to produce this many angry questions. I do hope writing these helps you work through them, but I would suggest you deal with this anger with people on a face to face basis. The internet really doesn't permit two way engagement. You get answers, but not dialogue.
Take care.

If you read the Bible you would understand that it isnt a physical sword He is talking about but a sword of judgment. When Jesus was taken captive by the Romans, Peter attempted to fight their way out and Jesus told Peter to sheath his sword and healed the soldier. The Bible is not meant to be taken at a complete literal interpretation. Jesus used parables and analogies so people who wanted to understand did. Those who wanted to know more were put in a situation to question what He meant. I do not lie for Jesus, when I have lied in the past it has only been to further myself and self indulge in the lifestyle I was living. Come on and be real, if your questioning the Bible to this extent, your not going to make any Christians sway in their faith. I believe it is you who God is trying to talk to and you who are running away from Him

Although you have asked multiple questions, which is too complex to respond to in one answer, I will respond to your first question.
Jesus is not promoting hate in this passage any more than you are. He was predicting that He would cause contention, fighting, division within families, etc. Was this God's will or is it something that Christianity promotes? Of course not. The New Testament in many verses tells Christians to remember that "we have been called to peace."
But Jesus' claim to be God would be a point of contention down through the ages. It was prophesied about Jesus that He would be a "stone to make men stumble and a rock to make them fall." Why? Because anyone who meets Jesus Christ would have to make a decision about Him. And that decision will change a person, whether they accept Him or not.
Your participation in this forum and asking this question is a fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy. The mention of His name stirs emotions both good and bad, even hateful, even loving. In that sense, this same question could be asked, "Do you promote hatred towards others?" I don't believe so. I hope that you are one who is looking for the truth. If so, if you seek the truth with all of your heart, you will find Him. For He says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jer. 29:13.
I hope that you have success on your search for the truth. If you search for Him with all of your heart I have no doubt but that He will show Himself to you.

It so does promote hate. Just check the horrific homophobic rambling you got to an earlier question. If there is a god and a life eternal. which obviously there is not, christians will be the ones in hell. They are by far the worst people on the planet.
And lying is an common trait of the fundies. There are loads of examples of pathetic lies from the creationists, esp. when referring to what scientists have said regarding evolution

Were do you get your dilusions? Have you ever read the Bible? The first verse you are referring to is Matthew 10:34 in which the "sword" he is referring to is the Word of God. Secondly, communion is a "symbolic" act of partaking of the bread and wine to symbolize Jesus body, broken for us and his blood shed for us. We eat and drink these, not because we're cannibals, but because we accept the gift he gave us through his body and blood. Thirdly, Where do you get that Christianity promotes liars and killers? I think somebody hasn't done enough research to answer these questions herself and she should go back to the basic Word of God and find them out for herself. Unless she feels better attacking people for their beliefs.

Name that religion:
They eat their Gods flesh, They drink their gods blood. The symbol of their religion is a man on a torturedevice.
They are taught to take an eye for an eye.
They are taught to avenge 7 fold and their God will avenge 7 times 7 fold.
They are taught they will burn in hell.
PLEASE!!! You can make anything into anything if you make stuff look like this.
You could make Harry Potter look like the Anti-Christ. Lets wait for the 7th book to find out and not condemn him just yet.
