He has no EYES...But he has AN EYE
He neither takes nor leaves PLUMS
But he takes a PLUM and leaves a PLUM
So it was a one-eyed man, and there were two "plumbs" on the tree

The blind man didn't have BOTH eyes, he just had one! And he saw (more=more than 1) plums, he didn't take (more=more than 1) plums and he didn't leave (more=more than 1) plums. So, there were two plums, because he saw more than 1 plum, he didn't take more than 1 plum and he didn't leave more than 1 plum. Did I get it right?
