i have to say staffordshire bull terriers so long as they are brought up as a house pet and not a status symbol.mine was a rescue dog i chose when he was 9 months old.it has taken alot of time and patience but it has been worth it as he is nearly 5 now and has a fantastic temperament and loves everyone including children.i would not change him for the world because he is totally gorgeous and a big softy (even though my friends say he looks like a gremlin)

I have just seen a dog on the telly with two noses and they were trying to home it. It was a bull terrier, and I think if I had a dog I would rehome one that did not have a home to go to, whatever the breed.

All dogs - but I particularly love Working Cocker Spaniels or Welsh Springer Spaniels. So lovely in nature and looks.
