Eye twitches are responses to either medication, some irritant or lack of rest. In severe cases there may be nerve problems or acute mental issues which must be diagnosed by a doctor.

Be sure your eyes are clean. Get a full eight hours of sleep. If needed, take an antihistamine to help you rest. Upon waking, wash your eyes and after a few hours, if the twitching persists, see a doctor.
