I called my daughter doodle bug because she slept all curled up in a ball like a doodle bug. Try not to concentrate too hard on this and one day she will do something or look a special way and her nickname will just pop out of your mouth before you realize it.

I think it should go by her personality. It will come in time. Either through an experience or something cute she does. Don't force the nick name. One day she will ask you why you started calling her her that. You don't want to say you posted a question and it was one of the answers.

It would help if you gave us her name and maybe somebody can come up with a play on words. My daughters name is Becky and I call her Becky Boo. Not very cool I must admit, but it just flows off the tongue.

We call our daughter Pot Noodle. When she was born she was the spitting image of my son so we called them Peas in a Pod, this became Pod, which became Poddy Poodle, which became Pot Noodle.
Hmmm - might be best to avoid nicknames ha ha :-)

My dad told me recently that him and my mum used to call me Baby Bean... And then Helga the Bean..... Hmmmmm!!!
Aparently my mum used to put my hair in plaits and clip them round to the top Swedish style... Team that with big blue eyes and you have yourself a winner!!!
Not sure why "Bean" though!!!
