Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. certainly, "sacrifice" is what God & Son won't have: Eg: i could have mercy, and not sacrifice: Matthew 9:13; and this no longer section isn't then, no longer now, on no account: playstation 40:6; playstation fifty one:sixteen; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; Mt 12:7; Heb 10 with the aid of fact sacrifice is presented "by making use of the regulation": Heb 10:8. it truly is obvious no guy is justified "by making use of the regulation": Gal 3:11. with the aid of fact sacrifice (blood shed) does not purge all issues, leaving each and all of the sacrifice (regulation) enthusiasts a tad wanting purged. Sacrifice is baby blessed: a cover up that gets uncovered: Eg: playstation 32:a million (Rom 4:7) ... Lk 12:2 ... Revelation = come across. So sacrifice enthusiasts ought to take yet another look, for while the "it" hits the fan, it truly is a blow back, as stated in places like 1Thess 5:3; Jam a million:15. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Without the death and ressurection, the prophecy from the OT could not be fufilled and man's destiny would be a mystery. When Adam sinned, that set in place, God's plan to save mankind from itself. Adam sinned, humans were born with that stain, God sent Jesus, Jesus died for our sins and we were forgiven. If we accept that, we are promised to live with him for eternity in glory.

Jesus died to save mankind from hell. Let me explain. The reason for His birth was because God saw how corrupt the world was at that time. (now to for that matter), However, God gave His son into this world to be sacrificed for us. When Jesus went through the beatings and flogging, it was done to take our sins upon Himself and by offering Himself on the cross, the worst kind of death, He became our Savior. When He resurrected it was to fulfill the prophecy of the Old Testament and to prove that we will rise again from the dead to be with the Lord body and soul. From that point on, all mankind has to do is ask Jesus in their heart and ask forgiveness for their sins so that we may enter the kingdom of heaven. Without Jesus's sacrifice, mankind could never be saved. Hope you can understand my explanation. Read 1 Peter 2:34 "By His stripes, we are healed" Stripes refering to His beatings. In John 12:47, Jesus said, "I did not come into the world to judge the world, but to save it."

Long ago before the history of the earth started, God - or Heavenly Father - had many spirit children in something we as Mormons call the pre-mortal life, who wanted to keep learning and growing. Under God's direction, Jesus Christ started planning a new physical world for all of those spirit children to come and learn and grow by gaining physical bodies and experiencing what it meant to live by faith, by exercising free agency. However, when you live by faith and are subject to physical appetites and temptation, it is not humanly possible to live a perfect life and return to God's presence, as He is perfect and cannot abide the presence of any unclean thing. Everyone who passed through mortality would not be able to be 100% obedient, and this would cause a spiritual imbalance in the laws of the universe. However, God really wanted to have His children come back to Him again. In addition to passing through mortality, all of God's children would be subject to physical death, that is, we would lose our mortal bodies and become spirits again. But to keep learning and growing as a person, we need that physical body again. So Jesus Christ volunteered to bring about something called the Atonement. This means that He offered up Himself as an Atoning Sacrifice, that He would agree to take on that negative balance of spiritual laws being violated, caused by the sins of all the world (and the other worlds created by God). He also agreed to pass through mortality and go through physical death and the resurrection process first (not the same as being raised from the dead, but to actually become resurrected as an immortal with a perfect body) so that He could help everyone else go through the Resurrection as well when the time comes. In the Bible, all of the Old Testament shows how the Jews are very carefully prepared for centuries by the law of sacrifice to get ready for the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. The New Testament is a fulfillment of that preparation. Because of the suffering of Jesus Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane when He took on the weight of all the sins of the world (and other worlds) as well as His crucifixion and resurrection, we all have access to the Atonement with a process known as repentance. It is easier for us to repent here in this life by using His atonement than to try to change without it, because when we call on the Atonement's power, we move farther away from the world and Satan's power and closer toward Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. The Atonement was so powerful that it provides the means of physical resurrection not only for those who believe in Jesus Christ, but even those who do not believe in Him. It also covers all the sins of all children who die before the age of 8 or the age of accountability. It is the single most important event in the history of the world. As a Mormon I believe it is so important that God wanted to have more witnesses of the events related to Jesus' life, and so he called prophets in the Old World and the New World as well. You can read about the prophets in the Old World in the Bible, and for more support you can read the Book of Mormon to learn about prophets in the New World. Hope this answer helps.
