no. everyone believes in something different when it comes to things that cannot be proven (ie monotheism/polytheism). and you might not want to quote something from someone biased.

I worship one God Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4) No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone. God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child.1 God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.

The trinity can not be more spelled out than in Matthew 3:16-17 when Jesus was baptized. "As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the (Spirit of God) descending like a dove and lighting on Him. And a (Voice) from heaven said, "This is my (Son), whom I love; with Him I am well pleased."

Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit

Let me explain this way...The blessed Trinity is like a pie when it comes out of the oven. If you cut it in three pieces you still see the lines but if you look inside, underneath the crust, the filling has no separation. It is still one. We put the dividing lines. OR this one. How can your Dad be three people at once...Say his name is Bob, but you call him Dad, and the neighbours call him the plumber. See, three people in one, simple as that

it is a rather a Christian/ Jew/ Islamic concept to try to give either gender, or a typical characteristic, or even specify the number in which "He" is present in matters of "God".
I feel it is naive to try to specify any of this especially since "God" is a tremendous supernatural force which humans have held in awe and for comfort and strength but never understood. Yet man has never hesitated from drawing various conclusions and giving explanations of all that is beyond our power to understand, at least yet.
I would give three different unresolved explanations working on the assumption that "God" does exist :-
1. God is a supernatural being who exist in all of us. The very life in us is a fraction of "God" without which our body is dead. "He" is neither He nor she. "He" is far above such petty issues of which sex one belongs to. If this assumption is true...then God's power is divided amongst all of in latent or active ways. If this too holds good, then, there being only one such supreme power, the number of living beings should remain constant.... But in truth this does not satisfy in reality. I use Swami Vevekanad's teachings to explain this- Just like the millions of images of the Sun form and fade in the ripples of water does not mean that there are millions of Suns, Similarly, we (millions of living beings) are not God but only a reflection of him. This still holds the fact that there is one God. Humans can see and experience "Him/ Her" in infinite ways within oneself or manifest an idol or visualise "him" as a ray of light or give that power a kind, feminine maternal face ( Hindus find it in them to worship from trees to snakes and younger and thus puree children).... whatever you do, two facts remain unaltered- That there is one God who can reflect "Himself/ Herself" in as many ways as Humans might want to see him/ her as AND that to serve and protect a fellow living being is to Serve God.
2. Human mind is more powerful than we realise. Collective strengths of a group of humans believing in one single cause gives such energies that may do the impossible thus confirming and re affirming their beliefs and subsequently forming a religion or sect. this tremendous flow of energy through all of us makes us believe in Supreme Power. when energies are constructive God is seen as guardian and friend and when the energies turned violent or negative, God is revered and feared.
3. God is but a force or being in another dimension who has knowledge of all the dimensions that exist. We on other hand, do not see and touch "him" because we know only of 3 dimensions on this earth and are at a loss before this far greater power.
To put God into a slot is impossible in any case.... we do not even fully comprehend "him/her" yet. It is only safe to say that all beliefs mus be respect and none should be forced and to love all beings selflessly is the supreme state of closeness and awareness to God that any human can hope to achieve.
