His hair is extremely thick and about seven inches high. Typical hair wax isn't strong enough to keep his spikes from falling. Other than elmer's glue and water what is the best product to help his hair retain it's height?

spiker® by I C E water-resistant styling glue

" a super-hold styling glue with extreme resins and vinyl derivatives for water-resistant grip. it's fierce hold you work in. wash out. styles stay glued."

This stuff has the consistancy of glue and never let me down when I went spikey. It's available in salons, if you go to the website, they have a salon locator so you can find it in your area!

There is a product called, "Extreme Hard Gel Glue" which should make it stand tall and proud! After washing/wetting hair, apply a large dab onto fingers, rub fingers together to spread and then massage through scalp. You can then comb into any shape and it will hold once hair is dry. It has a nice apple scent to it because it's partially made from apple pectin and it washes out easily.

CEMENT for hair is awesome. My son likes to have huge spikes all over his head and this makes it stiff as a board. You can even thump it over and it springs right back up. We've tried the glue and it's no where as good as the cement. Added bonus the cement comes clear and in all different cool colors.
